Headed to the restaurant for dinner as we wanted to catch the free Aspara dance demonstration.
As we were early, the place was quite empty and service was prompt, though not exactly friendly. The first waitress that took our order was slightly grumpy and seem to exclude the "you are wasting my time" attitude.
We ordered a total of 4 local Khmer cuisine dishes. All the dishes were decent except the local soup which lacked flavor.
We were subsequently served by a different waiter who was all smiles and stopped to chat with us while we were waiting for the dance to start. This level of service was such a contrast to the first waitress.
The Aspara dance was decent and entertaining, but we did not stay the entire 2 hours as we were tired from a long day. We left after the first 3 dances. Each dance is different and there are breaks in between as the dances change and grab new props.
Would recommend it for people looking for cheap decent local food. Do stay and nurse a beer while you enjoy the Aspara dance!
