“Yummy & Beautiful”

I was immediately impressed by the beauty of this restaurant, the teak house is just gorgeous. This was where we first tried the traditional Khamer dish amok and we were absolutely delighted. Happy we decided to give this place a try!

“Wow wow wow”

Loved the traditional building and the feel of the restaurant. After a couple of less than enjoyable meals i was so happy to find The Sugar Palm. The Amok was great and all the cambodian dishes with subtle spices and herbs were so yummy. I ate way too much and was delighted to find reasonable wine too! Such good value for money I had a wonderful evening.

“Beautiful building, beautiful food.”
Reviewed April 16, 2013

Went here on our first night in Siem Reap as it was near our hotel (Victoria Angkor), $2 by tuk tuk. The good reviews on Trip A are well deserved. A lovely large open building with big fans to keep you cool. The food was excellent and the service very good too. The coconut ice cream yummy! We tried to go back for our last night as we felt it was the best meal we had. Sadly as the tuk tuk pulled up outside we realised it was closed ( Sunday ).

“Lovely high spot with great value food”
Reviewed April 15, 2013 via mobile

We sat upstairs as a storm blew in enjoying the fairly quiet evening. The restaurant was less than half full in the run up to Khmer New year, so no trouble with getting a table when we walked in.
We enjoyed 2salads as starters, chicken & banana leaf and cucumber & silver noodle, followed by fish amok and morning glory with pork. All were tasty and delicious.2
