“Budget hotel”
Reviewed November 11, 2012

This is definitely a budget hotel located on a busy side street with huge pot holes and mud. The staff were extremely pleasant and attentive. They tried really hard. This hotel hasn't got an elevator - not a problem as your bags are delivered to your room. Hotel tuk tuks located right outside until about 6 P.M. FCC, Night Market and river are within easy walking distance. The rooms are ok. The shower cubicle doesn't have a door and after each shower we had to mop up the floor a bit. Towels were cheap and thin the kind that made me wonder - had they ever been sanitized/disinfected? Wifi was intermittent. Breakfast was alright, and food & drink weren't replaced until they'd run out completely, which meant a wait for certain items. There is no pool which would have been great after a hot day at the ruins. But for US$19 a night - it's a bargain, considering one would spend most of the time out at Angkor Wat and surrounding areas.

Room Tip: No elevator so get a room on a lower floor.

The hotel offers a free airport transfer to the hotel, Reaching the hotel, was warmly greeted by the staffs and given a cup of orange juice and a refreshing cold towel.
The staff is GREAT! very good English, very kind and well informed, they even helped us to book a flight to Phnom Penh.
The tuk tuk driver that picked us up from the airport and then taken us to Angkor Wat was very nice, too. Everybody was great!
The rooms are very nice and clear. The breakfast delicious.
When we left they even gave us a present :)
Overall, it was a really pleasant experience and I would choose to stay there if I'm ever back in Siem Reap.
The room cost was $25, very cheap because the service is very good!

OK, i'll admit it, I was skeptical about a $19 hotel. But it was great. Nothing fancy, but nothing lacking. It is on a back street which is not particularly scenic...but I walked to the main drag in about 7 minutes and a tuk tuk costs ~$2 and is imidiately available.

The staff even allowed me to push back my check out time so I could shower after a day trapsing around Angkor in equitorial sun before I flew across the Pacific. And when I paid the bill it was actually $19, not $19 plus a bunch of tax and fees.

An added bonus, the free tuk tuk driver who picked me up at the airport also offered to be my guide for Angkor (for the going rate of ~$30 for 2 days) which meant that I was already comfortable with his driving and English by the time I hired him. (His name was Theon and he was great).

If I get back to Angkor, this is where I'll stay.

We were picked up promptly at the airport by a tuk tuk (free) and it was a pleasant 20 min drive to the hotel. Welcoming cool juice was provided while the paper work was taken. The staff were excellently trained and very informative.
Superior breakfast, free wi-fi (good connection), pleasant bathroom and efficient AC. Rooms are so comfortable and clean. We recommend this hotel.

Booked this hotel after seeing lots of wonderful reviews for my trip to Siem Reap.

The hotel provided a free airport transfer to the hotel when I arrived. Upon reaching the hotel, was warmly greeted by the staffs and was also given a cup of orange juice and a refreshing cold towel.

The hotel doesn't have lifts so you will have to carry your luggage up if you're staying on the upper floors. Room was very cosy and clean.

Breakfast was good, though the choices were pretty much the same everyday, I still enjoyed the food. Location wise, it's about 10 minutes walk to the nearby Pub Street or you can get a tuk tuk from the hotel at 1 USD.

Overall, it was a really pleasant experience and I would still choose to stay here if I'm ever back in Siem Reap.

Hotel staff very nice and professional. Arranging airport pickup, preparing food for sunrise watcher, booking quad bike tour, adding extra bike, not to mention helping us find a tour guide, they always have a smile on their face.

Breakfast is beyond expectation. It has a home-made taste inside.

Location good. Not far from center market and old market.

We only stayed for 2 nights but our stay was great. We received a cool drink and towel as soon as we arrived which was much needed after the sweaty border crossing we experienced! The staff were excellently trained and very informative. They were very patient with all our queries and were able to make recommendations for visiting Angkor as well as restaurants around the hotel. They were even able to make great recommendations on where to stay in Phnom Penh to us as we had no reservations ourselves.

Siem Reap is quite small so the hotel is within walking distance of the old markets and restaurants. The rooms were great and very spacious and the breakfast was excellent.

Overall, we had a brilliant experience and were amazed at the level of service we received at this hotel.
