“"The breakfast show"”
Reviewed February 25, 2012

This hotel is very good value. Has huge suits for $24. The rooms are clean, quiet, have good aircon and WiFi . Restaurant serves cheap tasty food which you can take to your room or eat in.
The fun is at breakfast. 50 rooms but only 8 tables in the restaurant. Most people get up early to see the temples so its hit or miss on getting a table or any breakfast. We were unsure if the waiter was new but he seemed to be totally lost. At one stage it was like we were in a faulty tower episode in titled "Juice? What Juice?" You had to laugh or you would cry. I felt sorry of the man chasing his juice around the restaurant but never quite getting it. Come for the big rooms stay for the show.

I think this is a very good place to stay in Siem Reap. It is removed from the hectic pub street, with some nice restaurants very close to the hotel. Good choice for breakfast and free computers in the lobby. They will mail your post cards for you, and arrange in room massage, which is nice after touring temples. The rooms are nice and clean.

Our room was phenomenal. For an extra couple of dollars per night we had a giant room with a very nice sitting area. Staff was amazing, from the welcome drinks at reception to trying to answer any questions we had during our stay. The restaurant staff was particularly good - service was consistently good. We did not have any complaints whatsoever - in over a month of travel, this was easily the best hotel experience we had along the way.

Room Tip: Booking one step up from their standard room makes a world of difference.

We were upgraded to Suite room on our first night which is very great. Thank you!

Location: Very nearby to Pub Street where you get foods and drinks ($0.50/ glass of drought beer). Just 15minutes walk max ... or take a tuk tuk at $1/trip.

Tuk Tuk drivers: You can hire hotel tuk tuk(some of them spoke very good english), there is a standard price list, dont worry of overcharging as you can always check with hotel staff for the price. The price is pretty standard. If you want to hire a tuk tuk driver who can speak decent English, let me know. I can recommend you as I hired one outside from hotel for 2 days.

Breakfast: This is something that the hotel should look into seriously. Choice of foods are very basic and not up to standard. As there are limited of staff working in the restaurant area, it took at least more than 15 minutes to get your food delivered to your table. I heard many guests are unhappy about the quality of foods as well ... but you know, we were just paying $22/night for standard room, so we are fine with it. But those people who paying over $35/night, i dont think they will happy with the quality of foods/services. I would suggest to have self service type of breakfast instead of taking order from the menu.

The room has basic amenities and the breakfast is sufficient. Hotel has good and helpful staff at the front desk, and good and helpful car and tuk-tuk drivers. There are many good restaurants around the Pub Street; walking distance from hotel to Pub Street area is not very near but the walk is quite enjoyable as there are many various shops along the way. If you are not keen to walk, the tuk-tuk would cost you $2 to get there.

If you are looking for a good proper massage, The Lemongrass around Pub Street is very good. Their service is professional and clean. The best vegetarian restaurant we’ve ever been: Chamkar Restaurant, around Pub Street.

This hotel lives up to all the great reviews on it's service. The staff really go out of their way to be helpful. The rooms are quite nicely done and immaculate. It is located in a quiet residential area not at all far from the center of town.
There is no elevator as mentioned and no nighttime street lights.
Really good value at 34$/night.
