I can't say enough good things about this hotel. It feels like a 4 star hotel - the rooms are clean and new and nicely decorated. The service is absolutely impeccable. The staff went far out of their way to help us. The restaurant has really excellent authentic Cambodian food for the same price you'll get it on the streets. The location is also really nice - it's a 5-10 minute walk to the night market, and about a 25 minute walk from the Sinh Cafe office where our bus dropped us.
The hotel also arranged for us to hire a private tuk-tuk driver - Thean - to take us for a full-day tour around Angkor Wat and many nearby temples. He was GREAT! He met us before sunrise (the hotel staff came and knocked on our door to make sure we were awake!) to ensure we would get to Angkor Wat in time to watch the sun come up. He spent an entire day with us - from before sunrise (met at the hotel at 5 am) until 3:30 pm when we were so tired we asked for him to bring us back to the hotel. He is kind, knowedgeable, and really loves his job. He gave us his business card, so here is the information below. If you are looking for a really nice guy who knows his stuff to tour you around for the day, Thean's your man. His number is 092-410-210, his facebook is Vann Thean Rang, and his email is email@example.com.
All in all a fantastic stay, and we were truly sad we'd only booked two nights with them! We even got a FREE in-room hour-long two person massage for booking online through Agoda, so check that out as well. Stay here - seriously.
