“At the busy Pub Street”
Reviewed March 8, 2014

I was simply amazed by this experience. I tried 12 types of meat in this barbecue: the most exotic ones were crocodile, ostrich and kangaroo. It is done in the centre of your table, by yourself! You just have to rub pork fat in the metallic little furnace and spread the meal around it. We had a delicious wine to follow. This is a typical Cambodian dish. You definitely must try it. You can also entertains yourself with the passbyers in Pub Street, as it is a very lively place at night.

“Fun eating experience”
Reviewed March 2, 2014 via mobile

We went here on our first night in Cambodia, my partner loves a BBQ and couldn't resist trying it as we walked by.

I can see that some people think it is expensive, if travelling around Asia, like us, it may seem a litter more than elsewhere, but compared with UK prices we felt it was reasonable.

We did the set menu for two, the waiter we had was lovely but could only speak basic English, which is fine, I wish I could speak other languages as well as he spoke mine. But he was unable to explain to us how the process worked, although it may appear self explanatory it would have been helpful to have some tips!

Having said that the food when barbecued was really tasty, even without the dipping sauces. The noodles and vegetables along with the soup liqueur were readily replaced and again where lovely.

Would definitely recommend for a fun eating experience, although make sure you get a table under a fan, it was unbearably hot at one point!

“a vast variety of meats”
Reviewed February 11, 2014

located off pub street, It had an amazing variety of meats. We tried rare meats like kangaroo, camel, crocodile, besides the routine pork, lamb and chicken, in the traditional cambodian BBQ, where you cook the meat on your table itself. The only drawback was that they did not have draft beer, and you had to get canb or bottles, which was more expensive

Dear Valued Costumer,

Thank you for placing your comment here!

The concept of our restaurant is almost the same to what you have written but i would like to clarify some points form your review.

1. We never had a meat of camel and lamb since we opened the restaurant. Each set of the meat in the serving plate labeled with a small flag of corresponding meat photo.

2.we serve draft beer in our restaurant or maybe it happened that our restaurant already run out of stock that's why you need to choose for can or Bottle and i am asking apology for that.

Thank you so much!

“Not for vegetarians”
Reviewed February 10, 2014

We visited on a Sunday night. Walking past during the day, I checked there were vegetarian options. The waiter said yes, BBQ vegetables with "no meat flavour". Upon arrival my partner ordered the meat and I ordered the vegetarian option. The BBQ came along with the meat and vegetables. Some meat was placed on the BBQ and off went the waiter. No explanation of how it worked, do we cook it ourselves, will he return, do I cook the vegetables on the same place as the meat? Nobody came back and it was impossible to flag down a waiter. It appeared understaffed - even inside there was only one waiter behind the desk. They forgot our drink orders twice and it took half an hour to receive a drink - we were boiling in the heat and next to the coals! Tips - better service, explain how it works to new customers, also the vegetables were sliced too thickly and would have taken half an hour to barbecue. So I had vegetables in soup with a few noodles and cabbage - not worth $7 unfortunately.

“Fun BBQ good for kids too”
Reviewed February 3, 2014 via mobile

Super service so nice and even spent time teaching us some language. Fast with refilling Soup and vegetables pls the noodles and rice too. Soup was amazing! We all had fun grilling and tasting the different meats. Kids ages 6 and 9 got a kick out of trying crocodile and ostrich, no kangaroo but they swapped it for duck which was great. Put the white wine and water in a big ice bucket for us, and they accept credit cards. Sure a little pricey for Cambodia but lots of fun.
