“Delicious but a bit sweaty”

This was a great experience and something I would recommend everyone tries! The food was extremely yummy with a great variety of meats and friendly staff.
Make sure you wear something light as it does get hot cooking around the BBQ!

“Different concept, good experience”
Reviewed April 3, 2013

Right on "Pub street", this is a neat restaurant. There is a combination broth boiler/bar-b-q put on your table, a selection of five types of meat cut into small pieces, and all the noodles, veggies, and rice you can eat. Then have at it. We were right on the sidewalk, and it was hotter than the bar-b-q itself, but it was a really good meal. Tables of four, so we met two other travelling couples and had a great time. Had inside seating and and upstairs, but the sidewalk is where all the action is.

“Ostrich is the go”
Reviewed March 23, 2013

Great little restaurant in Siem Reap. We chose the 10 different meat cambodian bbq platter. Frogs legs, crocodile, chicken, fish, squid, kangaroo, prawns, pork, beef..and the best of all Ostrich. A vegetable soup is poured into the bottom of the bbq with plenty of rice (at no extra cost) available. Not to mention $1.00 beers!!. Location is awesome, facing Pub Street or down the little alley way. The experience was fantastic. Recommend to all to try something you normally wouldn't get at home. Think the whole lunch cost us around $15 US including beers and water. We were the only ones at the time we ate for Lunch but noticed it was very very busy at night for dinner so you may need to plan ahead.

“Great experience, great food and service!”
Reviewed March 22, 2013

This restaurant is in The Alley, away from the bustle and tourist trap of Pub Street, even if less than 100 m. This is enough to give you an entirely different flavor. Stroll along these alleys for great restaurants! Do not forget to "deglaze" the barbecue plate below the lard by ladling some stock from the "moat" to remove the caramelized bits of meat and incorporate it into the soup below. It will improve it dramatically! service is wonderful as in most Cambodian places we sampled. An appetizer of fresh springrolls in rice paper was a touch of perfection.
