“Cheap, but trying to punch above its weight and failing”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

On the surface this place seemed really good - cheap, good location, newly refurbished rooms and friendly staff. However, the floor above us was still being refurbished while we were there, and the builders started their banging and drilling at around 7 in the morning (we were promised 8) even on Sunday. Added to that, albeit not the hotel's fault, a nearby megaphone played music from 4am til dusk in tribute to someone who had died... The staff were unfortunately over-friendly, and often appeared to understand things but when we came back things weren't right (taxi bookings, breakfast orders etc.) which ended up being slightly irritating. The rooms were nice, except the bathroom, which didn't drain (and our friend's bathroom flooded from the construction work upstairs). Perhaps when they have finished their upgrade from a 2 star to a 3 star hotel it will be a better place to stay although I doubt the price will be as good! Not a terrible experience but I wouldn't stay there again.

Swapped here after an awful experience elsewhere in town and they were a delight. Rooms were amazing for the price- so clean and pretty, tv, air con, very friendly staff. A bit of construction noise during the day, but its low season so repairs are happening everywhere in asia.

Stayed here in a twin room for 6 usd each a night, breakfast included (never woke up in time though!) staff are the friendliest we have come accross in any hotel during our travels. comfy beds and pillows, flat screen television, cold but quiet air conditioning, very modern and nice! Pools half way through being built, would be perfect once completed, ideal for travellers like us, would recommend!

We stayed in a double room with a/c. The room was excellent, clean and big. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel had a very good dinner option (you gotta try the cheesse burger!). The attention is great. We took the tour from the hotel to the temples and was really good, if you do it ask for Nala to be your tuk tuk driver!
