“great staff but dirty hotel”
Reviewed May 20, 2012

the good part of this hotel is the very friendly helpfull staff, tom the owner was so nice, he spoke excellent english,The location of the hotel is great.rooms are spacious with air con,we had a fridge, but the peaple we were traveling with didnt. you can help yourself to clean towels and tolet rolls daily. Now for the bad part,do not be fooled by the photos the hotel is very run down witch isnt the problem ,its how dirty it is.The cobwebs in our room stunned me,the dust was so thick in the room . the wooden bed frame was the worst ii had to get a damp cloth to clean it ,the inside of the fridge was ok but the outside had never been cleaned, the bathroom is a wet room, the floor is extremley grubby, the water dosnt drain straight away,so you are left with a bathroom filled with dirty water, i had to clean the toilet when we got there, for some reson they only clean part of the toilet ,they leave the seat up but when you put it down the back was brown with all sorts of evidance of the previous guests ,yuk .we were on the 4th floor, so it took a couple of hours for the water to drain.the bed linnin seemed quite old and when i cheeked my pillow out, it was brown and stained. i didnt use it.i didnt sleep very wel ,it was mainly due to the packs of dogs barking and howling all night.i The whole place needs to be scrubed ,Now to the free breakfast,They have no idea how to do toast,it was just warm bread, you have to ask for butter, the coffee was stone cold ,now my husband normaly eats anything, but the look on our faces when we were presented with the srcambeld egg,its was brown with pits of black stuff in,we didnt eat it .I had a cheeky look in the kitchen ,im glad i didnt eat the breakfast,it was filthy.

This was on the best places I have ever stayed at... I was in Siam Reap for 4 days. I had not planned to stay here for more than 2 days, but ended up staying there for the entire length.

My stay was worth every penny of what I spent. Good heavy breakfast, Open atmosphere, Big rooms, good AC, free internet and free Wi-Fi... The manager Tom (actual name Tep Ngoun Seng) was great person to know. He was always helpful and friendly. Location of hostel is good.. Very near to Night Market... Only thing that made uncomfortable was Wi-Fi is not available on the upper floors...

WIll stay there again when I go to Siem Reap again.

Room Tip: The rooms without AC are almost half the price of AC rooms...if yu are comfortable sleepng without A...

This place is a great place to stay and well worth the money you spend. There is A/C, hot showers, tv, and free breakfast. The staff is SUPER accommodating and wants you to have a great time. Tom is a great person to chat with and is super helpful! They let us store our stuff in the hotel on our last day in Cambodia even though we hadn't stayed there the past few nights (we were in Phnom Pen). Overall great place to stay!!

When I first time came to the hotel, I became very impressed by very friendship and helpful staffs. Next you find that it is a small but extremely hospitalised hotel. The staff is to makes sure that you are happy and well taken care of, you could not ask for anything more. We stay at a double room with a very big bed and the room can fit up to 4 people sleep there without any problem. There is a very simple and tasty breakfast.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The service is nothing short of amazing - the staff are so lovely and genuine. We booked bus tickets through another travel agency, got back to our hotel and spoke to the staff about it, and soon realised we had been overcharged- I think the staff were more upset but still they hepled us.
