This restaurant was great, the food is just amazing and we ended-up going there 4 times in the week we were in Siem Reap. Right in the center and very pretty. The kmer curry is delicious. Only problem was the the service was a bit slow but that doesn't really matter when you can people watch while drinking some great juices.

Beautiful little spot in a lane way off pub street.
Decor is great... Good ambiance. A fun place to people watch while eating really great food.
I would recommend the spring rolls!!
You won't be disappointed if you enjoy a lunch here.

I had a very good experience at Amok restaurant.
The restaurant'a location is lovely, right by the pub street, in a street that looks a bit like a mini Montmartre.
The atmosphere is lovely and the staff is amazing.
The food is very good, portions are generous and the prices are fair.
I recommend it especially if you want to try the Cambodian amok (I recommend the amok tasting dish which has 5 types of amok).
Small comment: the shrimp did not taste very fresh but I'm sure it's not always the case since everything else tasted amazing.

“Best Platter I Had”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 6, 2014 via mobile

Im wondering why reviews of this restaurant is not nice but when I went there, I had the great service and ate the great food I ever tasted in Siem Reap. The location is pretty nice and cosy and the staff, plus a newly hired Filipino Manager, was very welcoming even though I did not disclose initially that Im also a Filipino. (Because people think I am more of Chinese-looking) Anyway, I would still say give it a go if you are visiting Siem Reap. Its also highly recommended in Lonely Planet.

Excellent location, but everything else average. Very disorganised restaurant with staff flustered
And forgetting orders & drinks. Amok platter was nice but lacked a bit if flavour.
Great location for a drink.
