We left via this gate, on the way from Angkor wat to Bayon temple. the sculptures on the bridge are amazing, even though some of them are in the process of being restored. Lovely carvings on the massive gate are amazing also. worth a detour if you can to visit here

Although the South Gate is far more popular, Victory Gate is far more enjoyable to visit because it's less crowded and it is well preserved. This gate served as the gateway for the army of The King, hence the name 'Victory Gate'. It's one of the 5 gates accessing Angkor Thom. If you're looking for a magnificent photo or selfie, climb the hill to the left or the right of the gate for a close-up shot of the huge stone faces (see photo).

One of the highlights of Angkor Wat complex - glorious , monumental and impressive . Definitely stop for photos !!! There is elephant station next to it - you can hire one for mountain ride.
