This place has excellent food. I've tried about 4-5 dishes on the menu and they have all been outstanding. Nine ambiance with friendly staff and a friendly owner behind the bar.

Great place! The beef was simply amazing with the pepper sauce. The staff was friendly and helpful. A good place for amazing French food.

The server said something about how the restaurant was closed for a long time and just reopened, maybe it's a new owner. They did not have the first 2 thing I tried to order so I had the french set menu. The salad was plain which is fine, the dressing tasted like veg oil and rice vinegar (spare no expense!)
The main was suppose to be a filet in a red wine sauce. It was a really sall piece of borderline funky fish that was so over cooked it was like rubber served in a gelatinous pool of disgusting 'sauce' with sliced boiled potatoes.
Incoceivably gross. No alternative option offered, no appology from the staff. The owner, whom I had to approach as he was not at all paying attention, said the fish was local, like it was the fish's fault it was so bad, and eventually offered a lame apology but didn't hesitate to take the full price for the meal I left sitting on the table. He didn't even check it. You didn't have to taste it to see it was disgusting and a brawny attempt to cut the fish would have revealed with certainty just how over cooked it was. I can honestly say I have never it my life had such a vile 'meal' placed before me, the wine however, was pretty good.

The food here is nice, I tried the foie gras terrine is okay. Mostly old people visited this place. Bario has nice wine selection. Only the location is not really good.
