“A decent way to spend an hour”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 18, 2013 via mobile

My family loves crafts and was looking forward to the ceramics center. We came away satisfied but not inspired. To the positive, you get started on the potters wheel right away without much preamble or fuss. However, we found our instructors taught more by moving our hands around than actually teaching us much about what we were doing. Plus there wasn't any connection to local customs or cultures explained. Was our clay local? When did the Khmer start using a potters wheel?
In the end, they forgot to bring our finished pots to the hotel and rushed them to us right before our flight (which was nice of them, although half of them weren't ours!).

“Fun!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

Had a chance to do our own ceramics, and it's fun!:)

Guides are also there to help you along with the ceramic making...but boy - i didn't know it needed quite a bit of effort on our arms and legs!;) Fun.

Free pick up service and also quick delivery - the very next day!

“Okay if you have kids”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2013

The shop don't have anything special to buy and see. This here is more for your kids if they like to try to do something with clay. The staff was helpful to our daughter as our
daughter find out that it was not so easy like she have see at TV. I find the price a little bit high for some clay, and they charge 5 US$ if you want to have one extra burn. The will delivery next day so let us see the result.

“Great experience!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 5, 2013

I have been wanting to do pottery and touch clay and operate a potter's wheel but in the Philippines it is expensive! We got our pottery class for USD 15 (as of May 31, 2013) very affordable. They gave us 3 clay balls and an experience to make our own pots. The instructors were not that good in english so on my second pot i requested the female teacher to help me change the shape, what she did was she scrapped the whole thing and i wasnt expecting that since i already liked the shape. After the pots are formed they are blow dried and they let us design and engrave our names. After 24 hours the ceramic center delivered it to our hotel! Nice! The only drawback here is that they make you buy your other pots since only one was free. I had to buy the second pot i made for an additional USD 5. But still it was a great experience! I'll go back if there is a chance!

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 17, 2013

It's was so much fun, we went there to have our first experience with clay and it was great, the staff is super friendly and they offer us refreshing towel during our course. They will deliver our creation the next day. Just try it if you have time.
