“The best coconut smoothies!”
Reviewed March 20, 2014 via mobile

Found Common Grounds by chance when on a small stroll from our hotel, a great spot for a quick bite or cold drink. The coconut smoothies are the best I had in Cambodia!! Good free wi-Fi and friendly staff. Recommend!!

“Comfortable cafe to chill out away from Pub Street”
Reviewed March 12, 2014 via mobile

Nice American style cafe that supports less privileged Cambodians. WIFI is strong, coffee is of standard and service staff very hospitable, so it's a good place to spend an hour or so just resting your feet or reading.

Location-wise, it's about 10 mins walk from Pub Street in a quieter area so there's not much around it except for Frangipani Spa which is supposedly one of the better spas. I cycled there so it wasn't an issue.

“Good place to refuel”
Reviewed February 21, 2014

Regular $1 coffee here was excellent.

I tried the lava cake thing and a muffin aswell but can't recommend as I didn't really enjoy them. Lava thing was a weird warm mousse thing and the banana muffin was underdone with not much flavour. I guess I ordered the wrong cakes.

Also when I went to pay they asked blankly what did I eat? lol The staff hadn't written down any of my order. Don't know why it's like that hope it's not for bad reasons (staff pocketing money directly?).

Would definitely go back for the coffee and try different food. Also it's not-for-profit I think so extra reason to go here.
