This is a relatively new resort (early 2019). We were super impressed. There are no tall hotel buildings but small houses/bungalows. The grounds are amazing, very green, amazingly polite and kind staff. The kids loved the pool and the family rooms were super spacious and great deco

Room tip: Family room has 2 separate rooms each with its own bathroom

We try to take a few short breaks away from the big smoke of Phnom Penh each year and like to try new hotels in Siem Reap. BB Green Angkor Resort was a wonderful surprise. A beautifully designed and equipped resort in the middle of rice paddies (albeit very dry as we went in the middle of hot season).
The staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful and they remembered our names. The villas are beautifully appointed. Ours had a wonderful big bedroom with a brilliant air conditioner, a separate sitting area and amazing fully appointed kitchen. Only a ceiling fan in this room which wasn't great in the middle of the day (40 degrees C out) but early morning I sat and looked at the amazing tropical garden outside and the fan was perfect.
The pool area has a wonderful kids area - pity the main pool isn't separate as I an imagine it would be quite noisy should you want to laze by the pool and read a book. It was too hot for most to be out at this time of year however. Food and restaurant were great. Wonderful selection for breakfast. room service menu was good quality and value for money.

Room tip: away from the pool

Wonderful resort to stay with family .The people in the resorts are really very good and their hospitality is really awesome. Though I wish to list everyone’s name here, here are some We had great time with... in grape restaurant all food is very nice and Lim Lika, ken Sarath.... many more others served food very nicely and I felt it’s just like our home members who always ask you, do you want anything more to eat or drink...etc.. similarly everyone ensures you that you have good time.

Apart from many good points, gardens, pool and jacuzzi... are really very good.

Rooms are very clean and very well maintained
Pool is very good and especially kids will definitely enjoy

The new green hotel is so peaceful and relaxing. Stunning environment created, huge villas with every amenity. Beds and linen are 5 star, and every area was spotless. We had families with children from age 6 to 17 years, and the water park and pool kept everyone occupied. Plenty of shade and day beds around the pool, and friendly and professional staff. Breakfast was amazing, choices of Asian, American and English. It's about 5 km from the centre of town, but if you are wanting to stay in a resort for relaxation and family time with young children it's perfect. This is an Oasis in Siem Reap, offering free return transports to town a few times a day, and very obliging caring staff. Plan on returning for our next time out. Australian family.

We stayed here with 3 teens/tweens plus grandparents and it suited everyone. Very quiet and peaceful being away from the town.

The staff were very polite, courteous and more than happy to help us with transport arrangements. The free shuttle bus was great, but you do have to book as seating is limited to 11. Tuk-tuk into town or back was only $4 though so we usually got the bus in and tuk-tuk back.

Choub organised tuk-tuk tours of the temples for us on a couple of days and even gave us a guided tour of villages, silk farm and market himself on the 3rd day (again using tuk-tuk/rickshaw).

Kids loved the pool, especially when the water fountains were turned on. Jacuzzis were fun too and provided welcome relief from the heat after a long day touring.

Highly recommend this hotel if you like being away from the masses in the town.
