“Not worth the certificate of excellence”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 18, 2014

Basic food and nothing great. I think that people who rated it with 4 or 5 stars have never tried a very good mexican place.

Wraps and salads were quite bad. I wouldnt go unless I want to go for a beer

“Nice break from Asian food if you've been here a while!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 17, 2014

Mexican restaurant- good value on drinks, Mexican menu was really nice as we had been eating Thai/Khmer for weeks. One of the cleaner restaurants in SR, good prices. Ate there again after a good experience but ate from the Khmer options on menu- not as good, bit bland and not really as described on menu, but if you want this kind of thing there are plenty of places about that specialise in this and we learnt our lesson not to try it at a Mexican place! All in all good Mexican food (by Asian standards) if you're looking for a change

“Mexican with an oriental touch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2014

Facing Mexican restaurant Viva in Siem Reap, we thought to give it a try. Ordered quessadilla. Although not tasting bad at all, there was nearly no similarity between the original mexican and this version. Also the taste I was hoping for wasn't there. But as said not bad as a tapas-like dish.

“Absolutely terrible service and very average food”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2014

We were quite excited to have a change and tuck into some Mexican food at this Lonely Planet recommended restaurant however we left extremely disappointed with both food and service.

The staff were disinterested at best, I would say rude at worst. They only came over if we managed to grab their attention, they chattered really shrilly and loudly amongst themselves and we're not remotely friendly. Clearly the constant stream of new tourists ensures they don't put any effort into their work.

The food was average for my friend (fajitas) and awful for me. Stale, clumpy, crispy rice and a salad whose leaves we're tinged with brown. My burrito itself was okay.

Really recommend not visiting this place. Very disappointing, especially when we have had excellent food and service in most other places in Cambodia we have been.
