“a home away from home”

The rose apple is a place we always stay in Siem Reap. A very comfortable environment with good facilities and easy access for tuk-tuk and taxis. The guesthouse is a just a short distance to Siem Reap Centre and other attractions. The owners can arrange for your tuk-tuk for your visits to the temples or lake. We had a wonderful time there during our stay and the rose apple is definitely our home away from home.

We stayed here for 4 nights based on tripadvisor reviews and were not dissapointed at all. Nice room - we got upgraded wich was great, but the smaller one would have been fine, too. Nice garden and sometimes you can hear crocodiles from the nearby farms splashing about. Very attentive, friendly and fun service, making our stay very easy and enjoyable. Great local insights from an expat and Cambodian perspective.
Just like what everybody else says: stay there - we certainly did not regret it and would love to come back!

My wife, two young children and I stayed at the Rose Apple for several nights last week. Ohn and Tim were extremely warm and welcoming, as well as being very helpful with our day-to-day arrangements. Ohn also spoiled our children rotten and they loved it (and her, by the time we left). The room we had was large and comfortable - enough so for four of us.

A nice touch is the cellphone with local airtime and numbers which they provide to make it easier to get hold of them or the tuk tuk (which is helpful, since the guesthouse is not on the main road, although walking distance to town).

A great stay for us, so thanks to Ohn and Tim.

Room Tip: The guest house is small with two rooms. If you have small kids, the big room is more than adequate...

This is a really lovely place to stay and has a wonderful feel to the place. travelling across the Cambodian border can be very confusing at times. Tim emailed me lots of useful information beforehand about what to expect and look out for. It made a big difference and saved me paying unecessary extras. As soon as I arrived in Siem Reap, they sent a tuk tuk driver to come get me. the house has a lovely garden with soft lighting and little chill out areas. My room was very large and beautifully decorated. I was given a Mobile with a Cambodian sim so I could contact them anytime with any questions. I also had numbers for their specially chosen drivers so you knew you wouldn't be ripped off. I had my own driver for the whole day round all the temples and Angkor wat. It cost $15. He would wait for you wherever you went and always had water chilling for you when you were thirsty. It's a really fun way to travel. Ohn very kindly lent me a lap top and ipad so it was lovely to have internet access. I had no idea what I wanted to do or see when I arrived so it was great to hear what was available and put a good plan together of what to fit in during my stay. I ended up staying an extra day and will definitely be back!! I would highly recommend it :)

We (3 adults and 2 children, 2 and 5) stayed in both rooms at the Rose Apple for three nights in
Nov.   The rooms were large, nicely decorated with A/C, fans, mosquito nets and Wi-Fi.  Tim and Ohn were wonderful hosts and we enjoyed spending the evenings with them upon our return from each adventure.  It was as if we were guests in their home versus staying at a hotel.  They listened to what we hoped to see during our visit and provided valuable advice to adjust our itinerary.  Ohn prepared a wonderful breakfast each morning and we were fortunate enough to have her also prepare two of our dinners.  Their recommended driver Chin spent two days with us and were grateful for how safely he drove with two small children. We were also grateful for
another reviewer's recommendation on the trip Tim and Ohn coordinate to Ohn's home village of Roulous and Tonle Sap Lake. Don't shop at the local markets without Ohn to negotiate. We would not stay anywhere else if we returned to Siem Reap.

Room Tip: We used both rooms and they were excellent.

I stayed for 5 days in this lovely B&B. Both rooms are amazing ( size , comfort ). The B&B is situated in a quit part of the city of Siem Reap. Most important are the hosts, Tim and Ohn, They both make you feel at home and they are very motivated to give you all sort of advices ( trips, restaurants). They can organise you a personal tuktuk driver ( MIster Chinn) who can take care of all your trips around Siem Reap.
