We asked for advice on Wanderlust fb site and Samuth was recommended. So glad we took this advice. We went to Tonle Sap, Banteay Srei, the Landmine Museum, Angkor Wat for sunrise, Ta Prohm and Bayon in two tuk tuks for our group of 5, and got so much more than just a tour. Samuth took us to villages and explained the history, always knew how to get us to places were other tourists were not (particularly important at Angkor Wat and Ta Prohm), was punctual, charming and had a constant supply of cold water and ‘spring rolls’ (wet towels). Anyone who can time your arrival for the exact moment when the gates open at Angkor Wat, accomodate some changes in itinerary due to a sick teenager, and do it all with a sense of humour is a treasure. Not to mention the lovely photos we now have to remember our time in Cambodia. Thanks Samuth!

I had to write this review as quickly as possible, while everything was still fresh in my mind.
Samuth is clearly very passionate about the tours he conducts in the area of Siem Reap and in particularly around Angkor Wat.
We took the two day photography tour on the Tuk Tuk which cost 110USD which added to the overall enjoyment (if you want an air conditioned car is an extra 40USD per day). Samuth provides cold water and refreshing towels after each stop.
Samuth guides well and his English is good and he speaks clearly. He gives a good overview of each temple and the history behind it. He then tskes you to specific points within the temple to get the best photographs, not only that if like me your are a novice photographer he will show you the best way to take the picture, wether on a camera, mobile or tablet. This resulted in great photos. But as an addition and as part of the cost Samuth sends you photographs he has taken at the same time.

All in all one of the best personal tours I have taken.

We enjoyed a great day in the countryside, thanks to Samuth Unique Tours. We had been looking for a tour of the local villages around Siem Reap, and fortunately found Samuth Unique Tours. Travelling in the comfort of a tuk-tuk we were able to appreciate the beautiful countryside close up. We stopped at local markets, were taught how to make incense sticks, and marvelled at the processes involved in making fresh noodles and rice wine. Mr. Samuth was extremely informative, telling us about local life and stopping to allow us to take photographs whenever something caught our eye.
This certainly allowed us to see another side of this wonderful country, at a pace that made for an enjoyable experience.

A great 4 hour journey on tuk tuk to villages outside Siem Reap where we visited farms & homes making rice wine, incense, noodles & weaving. We visited a local market with beautiful fresh produce. Simuth provided a lot of local knowledge & information which made our experience a real pleasure.
Highly recommended, take this journey
