I would definitely recommend bike tours with Siem Reaper as the best way to see the beautiful countryside of Cambodia. Our guides, Prathna and Bo, were fantastic and provided a wealth of information on the temples and local farms we visited. We did 2 tours: the first day we biked to various temples with Prathna. We learned a ton about the history of the temples and religion in Cambodia. The second day, we biked in the countryside visiting local farms and businesses with Bo. We visited a mushroom farm, a crocodile farm, the rice miller, and the market-- where we got to sample fresh fruit and Cambodian donuts, among other treats. We never would have been able to experience Cambodian culture in such a hands-on way without Siem Reaper.

We LOVED our tours with our guide Prathna. He helped us craft a customized itinerary to fit our wants/needs, and he had fantastic recommendations for how to avoid crowds and get off the beaten path at Angkor Wat. He was a fantastic guide, very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. Prathna had a special knack for taking us to less-touristy and authentic-feeling locations, and he always made us feel safe and taken care of. Overall, we had a fantastic experience that we will never forget. And we strongly recommend supporting local small businesses like this in Siem Reap - to help contribute more into the local community!

Dear lkkerns,

Thank you for a wonderful comment about your experience you had with our tour guide - Mr. Prathna. It is great to hear you found the best way to visit the temples which is less-touristy. Thank for recommending our local business. Hope to welcome you on the next visit.

Best wishes,

We booked them for a temple cycle tour. They are a small, locally owned, very friendly company. My husband fell off the bike and cut himself and they helped us to a pharmacy, treated the cut and we were able to carry on. The guide we had was haklaos who is passionate about his country, very friendly, knowledgeable and interesting! We saw far more than just temples even though we experienced these as well.
If you want to support local Cambodian businesses I would thoroughly recommend them. Even if you aren't bothered I still can't recommend them enough !

This tour exceeded our expectations! We ended up going on two tours instead of one. For our first tour, we did the Angkor Sunrise Tour: 4 temples + the death gate on bike. Though it was warm, there's a nice breeze and I felt safer than I would on a moto. Our tour also included a short drive through the village, where we were able to see local farmers and children going about their day.

For our second tour, we took an AC car to Kullen Mountain to see the waterfalls, 10,000 Lingas, Big Buddha, and Beng Mealea. Not only were we able to go swimming, but we also heard traditional Cambodian music and visited a 'Hollywood Temple'. This temple hasn't undergone full restoration, so there's amazing trees and roots all about.

Our tour guide was very professional and was actually a monk earlier in life at the temples. This gave him an absurd amount of knowledge about the temples, Buddhism, Hinduism, and of course Cambodian daily life. Ask for Prathna (or Mr. Brown) for your guide!

Young Cambodians setting up a business to guide people through the countryside near Siem Reap. The guide and pick-up guy are very friendly and they organize a well structure mountain bike tour. During this tour you see the not touristic side of Siem Reap and you can enjoy the wonderful scenery outside the city. Highly recommend this trip.
