Pou was recommended by a friend and it was such a treat. I went back for two more meals, all delicious and artistically presented. The ingredients are high quality and flavorful, the dishes all unique and satisfying. The cocktails are equally creative and the staff recommended excellent pairings with each meal. Prices are similar to simple tourist restaurants but the food is a world apart! The chef/owner and his business partner are engaging, delightful guys to chat with. Can't wait to return!

Little restaurant in Wat Damnak area, great tasting and well presented food. Chef and partner from Rambutan Resort and doing very well. Cambodian food is really good if you care to be adventurous, and this place shows how the younger generation can make you experience the wonderful taste of Cambodia.

We visited the Pou Restaurant during our trip to Siem Reap, and found the food to be very tasty and interesting.

I definitely recommend a visit if you are looking for some Khmer food with a modern twist. According to the manager, the cook buys the fresh ingredients every morning in the market an structures the specials based on what is available and fresh.

The restaurant is very small, less than 20 seats, so you may want to reserve.

Thank Peter H

What a great little restaurant!

We had the following dishes: POUrk Belly Noodles and Nem Trey Sbeak Jrouk. Both were amazing.... in fact the pork belly noodles was one of the best dishes Ive eaten.

Great service with even the chef visiting us.

Cocktails yummy

A must eat place in Siem Reap

There are a lot of decent restaurants in SR, but I can not say we had been to place that was actually exciting until we were referred to Pou Restaurant. The chef is very young and motivated to create something different and he succeeds. The menu is limited and if you are late not everything on it might still be available. In any case talk to the chef and see what he can recommend that day and chances are good you will not be disappointed.

For the more adventurous among you, there a dishes with insects in them. But there is a very good beef Lao Lak, which is totally save and insect free.

Dear Anigo,

It's our pleasure to read your review and glad you enjoyed our dishes.
You are right, sometimes we ran out some dishes on the menu as POU serve only daily freshest vegetable and ingredients. But our chef will always on the side and help you sort out your favorite. your next visit please try the adventure and different flavor 'beehive'.
We are looking forward to seeing you again in the future.
With Regards,
Bora
