Our trip to Cambodia was a great vacation supplemented by the fact that we were able to stay at good hotels thanks to recommendations from Trip Advisor. I support the good reviews and add to it that the hotel was an excellent place to stay.
Pick the room facing the swimming pool. Staff was very helpful though addition of more English speaking personnel would be good. Clean rooms, decent massage parlor. They offer discounts for massage and food at the hotel.

Room Tip: Pick a room facing the swimming pool on the top floor

This was nice enough but truly just average. I don't know what breakfast everyone else was served but the buffet I experienced was not good at all. The steam tables contained mostly blah Asian noodle choices, the bread was white and tasteless and the cook doing the made to order eggs didn't know 'over easy' from 'barely warm'.

My room never really cooled off, partly due to the age of the hotel I imagine, as the lobby was also quite warm. The bathroom was fine when I checked in but both days after that the maid neglected to replace my drinking glasses instead simply placing them upside down back on the coasters.

The hotel is quite far from the center of the other activity in Siem Reap but as long as you know that and ask for the desk to call you a tuk tuk it's not a real problem, unless you just want to buy a bottle of water or take a walk. There is also no real concierge service and the staff I met had very limited English skills.

This was the last stop on my 5 week SE Asian tour, so I had alot of hotels to compare it to. I would not choose this one again.

Very friendly staff but not very efficient: it took over 40 minutes before we were checked in... and several of the reception workers didn't understand or speak english. Only when the managers were present: everything went smoothly.
The rooms are 'outlived', the bathroom not that clean and also the sheets showed 'souvenirs' from previous guests.
The breakfast was very disappointing with little to choose from.
Nice swimming pool but also very popular with the mosquitos.
It is located outside of the town center but this doesn't offer the benefit of less noise: it's close to a whole sale market and also the sounds from arriving guests makes it into the rooms...
Lots of Chinese guests who tend to be a bit more noisy.

Room Tip: Perhaps the rooms on the backside are less noisy? At least you won't be disturbed by the guests...

By far, the nicest and most accomodating staff we have run in to in S/E asia. We enjoy the polite customs in Cambodia, but the staff here are engaged and genuine and friendly. One small complaint. Third night the room got a little warm and the bed covering was a duvet but not a sheet. I kicked off the covers in my sleep. Next morning my ankles, calves and wrists were covered in mosquito bites. Made for two unpleasant days of travel. I should have said something at check out but the itching did not start for another two hours after check out.

Room Tip: Rooms on the back side face a blind rooster. He started crowing long before the sun came up. If I we...

What a lovely way to start our journey, an oasis at the end of a very unexpected street. Staff were great, very friendly. Man at reception was very accomadating, nothing was a problem. Bar and restaraunt staff was good and breakfast was also good. They ordered us a tuk tuk for our temples trip and he was more than good, he took us to a authentic cambodian restaraunt for the evening that cost us about $2.50 for 3 people, for food only. About $ 13.00 all up with beer.

Room Tip: Just loved our room.

This hotel's motto is affordable luxury - affordable it certainly is, luxury no. That said, it is a proper hotel, lift, room service, porters, wakeup calls etc. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are certainly adequate - everything you would expect. Don't get a room on the ground floor where the black stone floor looks dirty (though I am not sure it was) and the foliage outside the window adds to the gloom. I came here from the Grand Hyatt in Shanghai and comparisons are odious. Initially I was disappointed, but having changed rooms to the 2nd floor, and now having seen some rooms in guest houses in town, I really do think this is excellent value. Yes it is a bit away from Pub St etc but $1 each way sorts that, plus the hotel is down a little lane and thus very quiet. Breakfast is adequate, no full English breakfast like in the more up market places but they have cereal, fruit, omelettes and Asian food on the buffet, plus rather weird sausages and processed ham. If your budget is under $30 per day then you could do a lot worse. Also, their airport pick up worked perfectly and they found me a very good tuk tuk driver.

Pleasant, clean hotel with spacious room and decent breakfast. Good service. Our package came with airport transfers and one day guided tour by tuk tuk. We recommend Ra, our guide and Hong, our tuk tuk driver. A special thank you to Mr Pisith Kuon, the sales executive who guided us professionally answering my queries. We were mostly pleased when they extended our check out. About a 10 minute tuktuk ride away from the National museum and about 15 minutes away from the Old Market/night market and pub street ($2 each way and a dollar or two for each place you stop in between, no extra charges for waiting). The only problem we had was that the shower water was not warm enough.
