“If doing the 'big circuit' worth a stop”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 12, 2013 via mobile

We bought a 3 day pass to the temples, completing the small circuit on our first day and the big circuit on our second. This temple was part of the big circuit and it is arguably one of the lesser temples of that circuit. The staircase is very steep but worth climbing as the views from the top are stunning.

This temple isn't a must see, but if completing the big circuit it's worth climbing the stairs and simply soaking in the view!

“not too different”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 10, 2013

if you've been to ruolus temples or western baray then you can skip this one as i did. nothing too different from the other two. however if you didn't go to those two then it is worth a stop for half an hour or an hour

“Beautiful for sunrise”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2013

We got there around 5:30am or so and managed to enjoy the sunrise with the place all to ourselves. It's an under-rated sunrise spot and you get to see the sun rising over the horizon from the top level of the temple - and before the folks camping out at Angkor Wat!

“Worth a visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 2, 2013

Good spot to visit. As with other sites t Angkor this temple has some great carving and steep climbs. This is an early temple. The climb is worth it for the views and the close up view of the carvings and the guardian lions. Easy to get to and great to view you should include this temple in your visit.

“Not a worthy sunset”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 25, 2013

Went there after hearing that it had great views of the sunset, instead of going to Bakan Mountain, which might be overcrowded. I gave it ago, and arrived during sunrise. I was surprised to find myself alone on a not particularly elevated temple, but was later confronted by a guard who asked me to leave since they had closed.
I got a walk around at least, but the views weren't anything special.
