You have to hike around a mile in order to get to site. If you like nature, mountain views and rivers, this is for you. A little waterfall made the trip for me. Make sure you apply mosquito repellent, there a lot in this area.

Walk up the hall about 1km through the jungle can see different lifestyle, spider, butterfly, ant... Arrive at the top will see the waterfall and temple and picture under the water. It was very nice style.

Took an hour to climb to the carvings in the heat and it was not a climb for anyone with an injury or bad knees or ankles as it was quite steep. A little disappointing once at the top as there was very little to see, apart from some carvings in the rocks alongside the creek.

I liked this hike. A 1.5 km trek in the woods with some elevation gain, the path is easy and there have been wooden stairs constructed in the past few years to assist over the steepest and roughest terrain. The is a small waterfall that is pretty but nothing spectacular. There are also the carvings in the river bed, perhaps more interesting for their placement than there actual appearance. The best part about this trip is the chance to go somewhere reflective, and see the countryside, both during the hike itself and the fairly long journey to get here. I would only add this to your itinerary if you are here for 3 or more days or you have found yourself tempted out.

This is a very different site to the main temples of Angkor. It's not a temple at all, but rather a carved, sacred river bed. It's a long way from Siem Reap, at least one and a half hours by tuk-tuk, but worth the drive.
