We loved this place. My husband was so in love with the hotel, he suggested we extend our stay, but then i reminded him that we have to get back to work ;).
Great staff, great service, lovely and classy rooms, value for money.
We had a tuktuk at our disposal, and the airport drop and pick up was inclusive as we stayed two nites.
We ended up eating a couple of times at their restaurant as well and quite enjoyed the fare. We did not feel we were paying ridiculous prices for the food.
Tropical fruits in the room were a welcome sight, we quite enjoyed them and was a reprieve from the summer sun.
The staff was most attentive and the manager Sebastian was also very courteous.
We appreciated the little leaving gifts, I think since one encounters a lot of impersonal hotels nowadays, a touch of personal attention felt good.

This place was an oasis in a crazy bustling city. The sophisticated yet relaxing decor was wonderful, a dip in the fresh pool was divine after the heat of the temples. Wer had a driver included in the price of our stay- which was a b;essing, we could call at any time to be taken into town or sightseeing. He was so polite too, a lovely chap. The staff could not help you enough. We ate in once, food was OK, not spectacular though. So many great places in town.

Booked the hotel after the rave reviews and was not disappointed. Extremely attentive and friendly staff right from arrival to departure. Nice clean pool. Cannot comment on the food as we did not eat much there.
Free pick up and drop off at the airport and the free tuk tuk was great, and the guide that the hotel arranged, Mr. Vanny was the best. Ask for him if you want a guide.
They hotel also made further travel arrangements for us for no extra fees. All in all a great experience and should I ever wish to see the Angkor temples again, I know where I will be staying.

While we can't add something here that others have not already praised, we can add that their dinners are delicious, too. They are endlessly thoughtful and accommodating in big things and in small.

We stayed at the Pavillon for 3 nights in early May 2010. From our the friendly greeting from a driver at the airport, the amazing welcome at the hotel (bags, taken to room, delicious lemongrass tea and 2 members of staff helping us to check in!) and the beautiful hotel atmosphere this place was a relaxing dream after our hectic nights in Saigon. The bedroom felt incredibly luxurious with big and nicely solid bed and a wonderful (and very welcome in the May heat) shower. There were beautiful personal touches like a bedtime story placed on the bed each night, welcoming and eager to please staff on the desk and the services of a driver throughout your stay. Our driver, Zak, was amazing and went way beyond what I would expect from a driver. When I lost my pass (I know, stupid!) on our very first visit to Ankgor Wat he managed to track it down and saved me another $40. He was also an excellent driver and handled brilliantly some fairly agressive overtaking from large trucks on the way to some of the outlying temples. I tried the hotel massage - the room was lovely and the foot massage excellent. You can get cheaper in town but the luxury of just being able to walk a few steps from your room after a long day at the temples is well worth it. Just make sure you book in advance on the same day as some time periods seemed to get booked up fast. We also had room service on one day which I was dubious about because of the cost being greater than restaurants in town but I was very pleasantly suprised as the food was delicious and the portions very generous. Breakfast was also excellent and on a hot day more than enough to take you through to the evening. The fresh fruit in the room also helped!
The location is a little out of town but I actually prefered this. If we had stayed longer I might have prefered to be somewhere that would lend itself more to taking an evening stroll but for a short stay it was lovely to be out of the lights of the town centre. As other reviewers have said, having a driver removes most inconveniences - particularly for us the hassle of trying to find a good driver.
We did have one issue during our stay - some very loud music being played next door from 5am! The hotel did manage to get the sound reduced but not totally eliminated and even now I can still remember the tune (on a 45 minute loop all day!) Hotel staff were apologetic and obviously this was outside their control. It was probably for the best though as if it weren't for the noise I probably would have spent even longer at the hotel. We did have a couple of very brief power cuts (less than 5 minutes) but coming from somewhere that only had power every second day just having any electricity was still a luxury. I would love to go back here and wish that we had gone somewhere so beautiful and relaxing on my honeymoon.

My friends and I absolutely adored this place! Very personal service, and many simple gestures that made the trip so memorable. Travelling in Siem Reap was so easy and comfortable, thanks to this hotel and it's wonderful staff. Don't miss the breakfast, order the Cambodian fried rice or the Cambodian rice soup. The free transportation (tuktuk) that comes with the room was great too! The drivers (we had two because Samnang had a football game the 2nd day, haha) were helpful as well. The little stuff they provided all throughout our stay really made a big difference. We always looked forward to the little scrolls of bedtime stories they would leave on our bed at night. Best hotel EVER!

This boutique hotel is great if you favor small, intimate places over large, corporate ones. They go out of their way from moment one to make you feel at home. You feel at home from moment one. Staff are happy to arrange everything. Haivng a tuk tuk driver at your call was hugely convenient. Our flight did not leave until midnight and they allowed us use of the room until late evening (including tuk tuk) with no additional charge. The small spa was quite good as well. The locaiton is not great as it is not close to town but it is a bit of a head start to the temples. We stayed with our two children, ages 10 and 7. The staff made sure our children also felt right at home, arranging child sitting with no problems at all. We would highly recommend this place to anyone.
