We only had to stay here one night, but it was excellent. Check in was a snap. Room location the best. Sparkling clean. Everything worked. Linens clean and soft. Bed comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was great. They have it well organized to handle a crowd. Checkout a breeze. What more can one ask??? I will spread the word. Better than most of the resort casinos. Congrats!

We stayed at this lovely, reasonably priced hotel for three nights to bird nearby and canoe the Pine Barrens. We were checked in by the friendly, courteous host Laura; the process was quick and easy. All staff at the front desk were friendly and accommodating.

It was a great surprise to have delicious, hot chili and fresh corn bread awaiting guests in the lobby. Complimentary coffee and tea were available as well as snacks, beer and wine for purchase. A very generous breakfast of hot and cold items were offered at breakfast: eggs, sausage, cold cereal, instant oatmeal, yogurt, whole fruit, cut fruits, make your own waffles, breads, pastry and muffins Choice of skim, whole or 2% milk, juices and so much more served in a busy, very clean breakfast area. The people working breakfast were great, constantly refilling items, making sure hot food were hot and cold food were cold. This allowed for a bustling area to remain pleasant. A word about the eggs: two types were served hard boiled and moist yummy scrambled eggs. This is the first hotel with a breakfast buffet that did not serve dried out scrambled eggs.

The room was clean, with a comfy chair to watch the large flat screen TV or enjoy the views of Atlantic City in the near distance. Our room on the second floor was quiet and beds comfortable. No noise from adjoining rooms and hall. The pillows seemed a bit old some were flat.
Ice machines were not available on every floor. Ask the front desk to avoid searching every floor.

Coffee-maker, small frig., microwave and safe, hair dryer in the room all worked well. Standard bathroom with separate sink and dressing area, all amenities you would expect from a Marriott were offered.

Free Wi-Fi and free parking is very important to us and is available. The Wi-Fi was very slow perhaps because the hotel was very crowded with large groups of families. Complimentary USA today was available in the lobby as well as a daily local newspaper. Guest computers were available just off the lobby. The clean outdoor pool was a welcome respite from the heat. Small well equipped exercise room with TV was very useful.

I would diffidently recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

Stayed here for vacation with a family of 6! Nice clean room...Free Breakfast was very good, large selection of fresh foods...The pool was well kept...It was very quiet in our room but it was an end room so that might be why...Close to AC...the negative was the elevator, it was so slow!! Oh and a Manager was in the elevator at the same time my family was and she didn't even ask us how our stay was going. Overall I would stay here again!

I was travelling with a very larger group for a bachelorette weekend. We were told our rooms would be ready at 12 but they were not. The staff was very confused and not very accommodating to us. The rooms itself were ok, bathroom was a little dirty. Needed towels, took about an hour to get one. Guy kept coming up and other guests asked so he gave it to them. They all messed up on our bills. The cabs to get into AC were the worst. Total rip off. The hotel recommended this one guy who really just preyed on the fact that we weren't from there. The rate would be 40, then 35, then 30. A local told us to negotiate and say we need a cab to our hotel for 20. That worked. Too bad we found that out at the end of our way.

The Fairfield Inn Atlantic City North is definitely an older hotel that could use some work. The breakfast was the best part of this hotel: waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, muffins, bagels, etc.. The worst part was everything else. At check in the front desk was less than friendly -- very uninformative. I had an issue arise in my room and called the front desk to ask if someone could take a look at it for me since I would be out of the room for several hours. They said they would have the manger take care of it. When I returned six hours later I confronted the front desk about the issue since there was no message for me left in my room. The one guest service agent had no idea what I was talking about and had to ask her coworker who was on the phone. When she got off the phone she came over to tell me that she was the one that I talked to in the morning originally. She said that her manager came in late and that he had "other things to do" so it had not been addressed. The lack of communication and customer service was absolutely ridiculous. I will never stay here again and recommend spending a little bit more and getting a lot more on the strip.

Room Tip: Higher-odd numbered rooms have a better view

The Fairfield Inn Atlantic City North is a decent hotel. The check in process took less than 60 seconds. The room itself was a decent size and very clean. The bathroom was large enough and very clean also. The bed could have been more comfortable but was alright. The breakfast in the morning was decent. They had waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereal, and bread/muffins. There was enough seating as well. Overall the hotel met all my needs and it was at a good rate. If your travels take you to the AC area I would recommend it.

Room Tip: Higher floors at the rear of the hotel (odd numbered rooms) have a view of AC and are quieter.
