This place is exactly as in pictures.
For a backpacker hostel it is very very clean. The pool is great, big enough to swim in and nice in the Santa Cruz heat. The hostel has nearly as many rules as it has sunburnt backpackers but that is perhaps why it works. We had a private room by the pool, there is a potential for noise but it depends who is there. The place is not a party hostel however, so drunken youths declaring their undying love for new friends at the top of their voices in the early hours was not a feature.

The air con is weak and only from 11pm to 7am and it's about a half hour walk to the town centre.

The kitchen is clean and has all you need to cook a good meal. Supermarket about 15 min walk away. Communal areas clean and comfortable. wifi good for Bolivia.

Breakfast is max two eggs, max 5 pieces of fruit, max 5 slices of toast. Fruit juice, tea/coffee.

Keep to the rules and enjoy!

We rocked up at 6:30am with no reservation or them having any knowledge of us coming after a 10hr bus ride from the Bolivia/Brasil border. They were super friendly and offered us a few options and we even had breakfast for a mere 25bol. Super comfy room, clean, spacious and in a great location. It is a bit of a party place which is different to all the hostels we stayed in previously but it was great to have people from all over the world chilling by the pool with a drink & loads of stories. As far as Bolivian prices go, its a little pricey but its totally worth spoiling yourself!
