“Tasty sandwiches!”
Reviewed June 11, 2014

I really liked this place. Awesome local music and friendly staff. I had a delicious avocado sandwich and chips which filled me up! Would recommend.

“Sadly one of the better places on "Gringo Lane"”
Reviewed May 17, 2014

Ordered a pineapple chicken dish at this place and about 15 minutes later they brought a plain chicken dish with some herbs sprinkled over it. Was not very happy though they went to re-prepare the dish. 30 minutes later was served with the pineapple variety however they'd used the same chicken with herbs sprinkled over it so I had this weird combination of sweet and savory. Was so hungry by this stage so was not too fussed though it just stinks of laziness and cheapness.

Unfortunately this place is one of the better establishments on "Gringo Lane" where the attitude is pretty much "I'm never going to see you again so will try and charge as much as possible and give as little as possible". My advice is to avoid this street altogether and head to the shacks along the lake (make a left along the lake at the bottom of Gringo Lane") which serve fresh fish, chicken dishes etc. for 25 bolivianos (shack 19 is a great one). The food here is half the price and 10x the quality of Gringo Lane.

“Nice service, poor sandwich which took too long”
Reviewed May 1, 2014

I only had a ham and cheese sandwich but it took 25 mins to arrive. When it did, the bread was fried, not toasted. It was poor, it was greasy but I ate most of it as this was lunch before a long bus trip and there was no time for anything else.

Perhaps other dishes are worth a try.

Juice was good though.

“Friendly service, average food, loud TV”
Reviewed March 19, 2014 via mobile

After having read 5 excellent reviews, we were disappointed about the overall dinner experience. The service was indeed very friendly and familial. However, the food (trout) was no better than average and the ambiance was destroyed by the overly loud TV and the background music. To round up the comment, the wifi is good and you can pay by card.
