Clean rooms with a good breakfast. Great position overlooking the lake. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stored our luggage in a locked room, when we went out to Isla del Sol for two nights, at no charge. The manager allowed the use of a room on our return for half a day to freshen up before an all night bus trip for a minimal charge.

Room Tip: 1st Floor room is best as there are no lifts

This is an excellent place in Copacabana... not the cheapest place in town, but the view is fantastic and the location is perfect! The rooms are clean, spacious, and the showers are great.
A great place to stay for anyone visiting Copacabana.

We spent about $30 on a room here, so I guess you get what you pay for. It was awful and I couldn’t wait to leave, thank goodness we only had to stay for one night. First off, we’d booked a room with a view, but after walking up FOUR FLOORS with all of our bags because there are no elevators (and the staffer leading us there didn’t offer to help carry anything), we discovered ours didn’t look into the water. So I had to walk all the way back down to get a key for the right room, and when we got inside it stunk like cleaning chemicals, it was awful. As for the water coming out of the taps, I’m convinced it was straight from the lake as that’s what it smelled like. The pillowcases also didn’t actually cover the pillows, so as you can imagine cleanliness isn’t a priority here.
Breakfast (if you can call it that) was awful and the wi-fi did not work for a second.
Avoid this place like the plague.

Big spacious rooms with balcony and decent shower room = plus

Not bothering to clean our rooms or give us new toilet roll until I eventually went downstairs to demand it was cleaned = minus

Tried to overcharge us on arrival and then brought price down as we were about to leave then also tried it on again when we bought tickets to isla del sol when we knew the price was less but we asked to go to the south of the island and ended up on a boat to the north = minus

Promised American buffet all you can eat breakfast. Got given some scrambled eggs, bread and fruit. I've been in Bolivia for a while now so used to poor breakfasts, but expect more if you pay a lot more = minus

Music from the bar downstairs also vibrates through the floor if you are on the first floor. We moved to floor 3 and was fine.

Oh yes, we felt that we got a better rate but if the guy who gave it to us wasn't there they would charge us the full rate, so we paid up front but asked for a receipt each time. They totally freak out when you do this. Weird.

After a day of cycling we arrived at the hotel in the late afternoon and it was like something out of a movie. The entire scene was picture perfect. The hotel itself was great with terrific views of the beach and waterfront. The rooms were clean and a good size with twin double beds. Plenty of hot water for the showers. A bar downstairs to buy a beer and sit back and enjoy the view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was no internet service available.
The buffet breakfast was quite ample.
