Perfect large modern rooms, Stunning view, hot showers. Friendly helpful staff. Great restaurant. After 4 nights in hotel Rosario in La Paz and 2 nights here we wished there was a hotel rosario at our next destination.

The hotel is in a very good condition with good position to overlook lago Titicaca a liitle bit apart from the tourist trouble and -loudness. The staff is very friendly and speaks a realy good english - they tride to help us with everything.
The rooms been clean with all comfort to relax.
We tride the dinner - fantastic - and the inroom service as well.

Room Tip: All rooms have a good few to the lago. The studio - the best you can get.

I can not recommend this hotel highly enough! Everything was perfect. The entire place and the rooms are very tastefully decorated with cool Bolivian art. The view from the rooms is immaculate, overlooking the lake. The showers are terrific and the free wifi worked great in our room (105). The beds and linens are first class and super comfortable. They even brought the free breakfast to our room because they said it was cold that morning. Truly outstanding service and the best place to stay in Copa. For Bolivian standards the price is a little steep at 693bs, but you get what you pay for and this place is definitely worth every penny. Their fine dining restaurant was also exquisite, we ate there on our first night. We had smoked trout as an appetizer which was absolutely delicious, I have never been able to find smoked fish in Bolivia before going to their restaurant.

After slumming it in the cheapest hotel I had ever stayed in on the previous night we decided to see what our Bolivianos could really afford and so chose to stay in the creme de la creme of Copacabana's hotels. At £58 ($95) for a double room it was still very reasonably priced considering how luxurious the hotel is. Upon rocking up to the hotel smelling and looking every bit the backpacking tramps, we were initially received like Julia Roberts checking into the Beverly Wiltshire although as soon as the colour of our money was displayed we were welcomed with open arms.

The hotel is set in beautiful grounds with excellent views looking out onto Lake Titicaca. The rooms are spacious plush and have all the mod cons such as WIFI, cable TV, showers that are like riot police water cannons and even an IPod docking station. The breakfast was also a good spread although at the price we paid I would have expected some kind of eggs & bacon on offer which was available but only at an additional cost.

Location wise the hotel is located not far from the hub of activity in Copacabana and is bang next to the shore of lake Titicaca. Staff at the hotel are exceptionally attentive but as to be expected in any hotel at the top end of the market, drinks within the hotel cost an arm and a leg.

Room Tip: Best to book in advance if you want a lake facing room with a balcony, not sure if they cost extra but we turned up on the day and were lucky to get the last available double room in the hotel.

The hotel has a warm design incorporating many local elements and art. Our room was very spacious, luxurous and with a wonderfull view on the lake. We spent one night and ate both lunch and dinner in its restaurant, a recommendation! The chef is able to combine very tasting meals with appealing decorations on the plates. The service of both hotel and restaurant is perfect. To taste two different dishes, our request to present them with plates for sharing, was honoured with enthousism by the waiter.
