“Simply the best hotel we have stayed in.”

Luxury rooms, great views and exceptional food come together at this exceptionally friendly hotel. We stayed here twice for three nights in total and loved the large rooms, the great bathrooms with their viewing Windows onto lake titicaca. The food in the Hotel restaurant was the best we had in six weeks in south America - the cerviche was exceptional. Sunny gardens, great balconies and a beach side location makes this the top spot in town. Just go! Staff were fabulous, particularly Hindlay.

We stayed just one night. Our room had a very nice layout with a table and two chairs, music player, plenty of electrical outlets for charging our devices. A modern tub and shower. Separate toilet room. Hardwood floors. Lots of great lighting. The hotel has a lovely terrace for having a drink and watching the sunset over the lake. Very quiet. Just a couple of blocks to the center of town. Plenty of street parking. Internet (free) in the lobby area only, including two computers for guest use. All three meals that we had were wonderful. We were in a tour group, so I am not sure if the breakfast buffet (with cooked to order eggs) is included in the price. Safe box in the room. Just shampoo and soap for toiletries. Hair dryer in the room. Also a space heater in the room if you need it. Comfortable beds ( our room had two doubles). Rooms have a view of the lake.

Room Tip: We had room 101 which is closest to the lobby. The upside was that it is the only room with wifi in...

Coming from Bolivia, this hotel was our first luxury hotel in 10 days. Apart from the nice view ( bed facing the bay , bathroom with full size internal window for a lake view relaxation ) also the interior was outstanding and colourful. Although definitely more expensive than Bolivia, we enjoyed the restaurant from breakfast, over lunch up to diner very , very much. Andes-style lounge. And compared to many other hotels : large rooms and large beds. We regretfully had to leave after 2 nights.

We needed some days to rest and it could not be better at Rosario del Lago, a rainy day helped as well. Loved the lighting truts, overall space and specially the beautiful views of Titicaca. It might be more expensive option in Copa, but a great deal considering what you get. I missed the typical Bolivian pan in breakfast though and the coffee was too weak, putting this aside we were happy with the restaurant as well.

Room Tip: Our room was at the first floor and lake view was very good still ad the hotel sits quite above the...

On lake with nice view. Despite original decor, spotless environment, and great restaurant it does not get five stars because of a few details. You have to use wifi in lobby. No clean water or Kleenex in rooms. It is also strangely disconnected from tourist providers. It caters to its own packages, If you are solo or outside their guide cocoon, you are going to have to work to find a local driver, boat captain, guide. You may also want to look at a quirky, less fancy, but more original place called Las Olas...

We stayed one night there while touring and thought it was a nice hotel, perhaps worthy of a bit more than its official three stars. The location is good, facing the lake in a pretty bay. The rooms are quite big and the dinner we had there was fine. Breakfast could have been better. The staff were friendly. Yes, we would recommend it for a night or two while visiting Sun Island and the lake.

Me and my wife stayed there for 3 nights and enjoyed it very much. The rooms are large, well decorated and clean. The view to the lake is spectacular!

Service staff is very helpful and the food is great. The price is low for what they deliver, but so is most of this wonderful country.

Only downsize was a hot water problem, but they managed to correct it in a couple of hours.

In check-out we had difficulty to use our credit-card, so its good to have cash on hand. Other good tip is not to use the heater, because it makes the air too dry. Blankets are more than enough to keep you warm at night (we got 1° there).
