This place is one of a kind.
We stayed in room #13 for one night (3 single beds and a loft double) as it was the last room left - $30/night, and it was gorgeous. Beautiful detail, huge, hot showers and warm comfortable beds.
We then upgraded to 'A Suite', room #19 for a few nights - $35/night and were amazed! Even decided to stay an extra day just to enjoy the room and luxury that it provided. After being Central America for a few months now this was certainly a treat. Hammocks, lots of hot water, a fully equipped kitchen complete with coffee and tea, a fire place with plenty of wood, huge comfortable beds and a massive bathroom. The staff is pleasant and the restaurant is good.
Highly recommend this place. Enjoy!!

We had to email to book our room as they weren't on the usual hostelbookers type sites but it's well worth the little extra effort. They replied really quickly and were expecting us on arrival.

La Cupola really is an ideal mix of all the features you want from a hostel (kitchen, communal area etc) and a boutique hotel. The rooms really are a touch of luxury compared to almost any other hostel we stayed in through South America.

Its location is above the town and bay and therefore offers great views from rooms and their hammock garden. Obviously this means there is a walk up a hill to the hostel but for me its entirely worth it. The rooms do differ in price but we paid next to nothing for ours even compared to average Bolivian prices. They also have an excellent restaurant on site which serves excellent Breakfast and Dinner. These aren't included but considering most hostels breakfast is a bread roll it's worth paying the couple of dollars for some cracking food here !!

This hotel is away from the town centre & in a secluded location (I must warn you that there is a steep hill to climb). As you arrive you will immediately notice the fantastic view of the Lake & the port area of Copacabana. The hotel also has some nice gardens with some good harmacs to relax on after a good day exploring. We stayed in a 3 bed room, room was a good size with the 3rd bed on a mezzanine floor. The beds were very comfortable & the shower was hot & powerful (unusual for Bolivia from my experience). I would certainly stay here again & I would also recommend eating in the restaurant.

We enjoyed our stay at La Cupula. Based on what we saw walking around Copacabana, this is one of the better accommodation options in town. It is outside the main strip, and so always very quiet, a little way up a hill with a decent view of the lake and the town below. Our room was comfortable, with a nice bed, and came with a heater which was quite necessary. Wifi was strong by Bolivian standards and always available, and hot water was not a problem (except the day the entire town lost power for half a day). The breakfast is not included, but is good value - for US$5, you get enough food for two people - a bowl of fruit and muesli, 4 pieces of homemade bread with jam, two eggs cooked the way you like, a fresh juice and coffee. We ate breakfast in town one day, and spent a similar amount on much less food. Overall, a great, comfortable option in a remote town.

La Cupula Hotel is such a nice place to stay. First of all, it is nestled on top of a hill with breathtaking views of the lake Titicaca. The outside surroundings are beautiful with sculptures, hamacs, chairs and tables if you want to just relax outside.

The rooms are very clean and are nice. Enjoying a nice hot shower is not a problem because they are connected to a gas system. Each room has a heater which is nice during the cold seasons.

The staff are very helpful. Maybe a tad serious but the service is top quality.

There is a restaurant on site and I recommend it. During high season it is better to make a reservation. The food is good; much better than in restaurants in the village.

I´ve been going there for four years now and never had any complaints.

Room Tip: The rooms on the first floor next to the reception desk can be a tad noisy in early mornings as empl...

We really liked this hotel. There are great views across Lake Titicaca, especially from the restaurant. Also nice gardens with hammocks to while away sunny afternoons. We were visiting during the three day Fiesta de Virgen de Copacabana so sleeping was difficult but the party was good fun.

We only stayed for 2 days, but the staff, the facilities, the views, well basicly everything was just perfect, this and other small details made our stay worth the pay.

Highly recommended for anyone who goes to Copacabana to enjoy the peace and quiet of this lovely place.
