Nice rooms and restaurant where you can hang out and drink a beer/share some nice food. Also loved the television room and the staff is the friendliest ever. Would recommend this hostel if you visit cochabamba!!

Simple, but gorgeous look and feel to the place and a block or two from a great restaurant (La Cantonata) and what has to be Cochabamba's best coffee shop (Cafe Typica). Absolutely everything about this place works and the staff--Dani, Johnny, and the rest--are incredibly inviting. My daughter kept running down to the lobby to buy crackers, or water, or whatever, simply because she wanted to interact with them.

Do note that it's a very social place with a good on-premise restaurant and there tends to be a lot of noise, sometimes until late in the night. This didn't bother us at all, but if peace and quiet after nine PM is a concern for you, this might not work. But for it's worth, it was really "joyous", "genuine" noise, and not "Woo-hoo! Dude! Pass the beer bong!" noise.

In all, a great stay. This place alone could bring us back to Cochabamba.

We stayed one night at the hostel inbetween bus journeys. The hostel was nice and the staff were great. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning, the hammocks in the garden and the food in the restaurant was an excellent portion and tasty. There was an excellent selection of beers at the bar.

Running Chaski is definitely one of the most modern and cleanest hostels I stayed in during my trip. The breakfast and the breakfast lady were very great and the outdoor space is amazing. It is really big, too. You can watch Netflix or chill outside.
The only weird encounter I had was with one of the staff. Apparently sodas have different prices depending on with which staff member you buy them. And also prices for the nights vary so beware of that.
Other than that, great place!

This is a great hostel in Cochabamba - well equipped with excellent infrastructure. It has high speed internet (even Netflix), kitchen, tasteful common area and extremely helpful staff - with lots of great inputs for things to do. I would highly recommend it!
