I really can't speak highly enough of El Mundo Verde Travel or of Remy. If you want to have a personal, adventurous, and unforgettable experience in Bolivia, don't waste your time considering any other option; Mundo Verde is for you. I was traveling by myself and wanted to spend a good amount of time in Bolivia, thinking I would never have interest in visiting it again. Remy showed me just how wrong I was. As is apparent from the other glowing reviews, Remy is deeply passionate about Bolivia, especially Toro Toro, and that excitement is contagious. During the three day, two night trip to Toro Toro, Remy was an endless source of knowledge and enthusiasm. He was eager to answer any and every question, talk about any topic at all, and, of course, share all he could about the local culture and history he's come to love. Remy did a great job making this a personal experience - he often changed itineraries slightly to meet my interests, went out of his way to make sure I had the opportunity to try local foods (one night we combed through the entire town of Toro Toro to find chicha), and yet always gave me the ability to have personal time if I needed it. El Mundo Verde is a highly professional company, too. It has great relationships with local guides, hotel staff, and restaurants, mostly due to Remy's character and responsibility. As a result, I will never forget the wonderful trip I had nor the unbelievable wonders I saw - crawling through the deepest cave in Bolivia, watching butterflies and hummingbirds fly around the cascading Vergel waterfall, climbing through canyons, watching the sunset over the Toro Toro valley, and searching for velociraptor footprints by night. Bolivia is a truly wonderful country, and if you want to experience the best of it and come to love it, as I have, El Mundo Verde is the way to go.

Toro Toro National Park is a special place and Remy from El Mundo Verde would surely have been one of the best people to experience it with. This friendly, knowledgeable Dutchman absolutely loves Bolivia and it's evident every time he explains something to you about his new country. His passion was infectious and we came away from our tour convinced that Bolivia boasts some of the world's most impressive nature (having also taken a tour in Uyuni). Over three days and two nights with Remy, we never got sick of talking about all manner of things Bolivian and life-related, and he never seemed to get sick of answering our questions. Along with fantastic local guide Victor, we visited caves, rock formations, canyons and waterfalls, saw plenty of dinosaur footprints and also spotted some condors, macaws and vizcachas. The best thing about the whole experience was that we were the only people at all of these natural wonders (although it was low season in November). We chose the option with cheaper accommodation at Hotel Vergel in Toro Toro village and our double room with bathroom was basic but fine. The included breakfasts, lunches and dinners were unexpectedly delicious, and we particularly enjoyed relaxing with Remy over some great Bolivian specialities after hot days in the park. If you're prepared to pay the price to experience the best of Toro Toro stress-free and packed with insight, we couldn't recommend doing so with El Mundo Verde highly enough.

Hi Ben and Holly,
Thank you so much for writing an opinion!
For us it was a pleasure to travel with you, two great people.
To hear from two Australians "convinced that Bolivia boasts some of the world's most impressive nature", is really amazing.
We wish you all the best, and thanks again for a great time with El Mundo Verde Travel.

Cheers, Remy.

we did a 3-days-trip to the chapare national park with remy as our guide. he had previously organized everything for us, so that we had nothing to do except enjoying real authentic jungle life, -sound & -smell. he took us to a paradisiac lodge in the middle of the jungle, far away from mass tourism, organized a giudance through a part of the jungle where you can see a lot of animals and a day walk through a really dense part oft the jungle - experiences we probably wouldn't have been able to organize by ourselves. i grant, compared with other activities in bolivia, this trip was pretty expensive. but, the trip was also very well organized, individual and extraordinary for us. remy is a superfine guy, reliable, forthcoming, humorous and obviously likes his job.

If you are looking for an authentic experience with a mix of adventure and comfort that is suiting your personal wishes, look no further. El Mundo Verde Travel and the main host/owner/guide/translator Remy has it all, knows it all and delivers its promises. We -Dutch couple- travelled with Remy to Toro Toro NP on a private tour. Being picked up straight from the airport in Cochabamba, he served us a homemade lunch during the 3 hour trip to the park. His enthusiasm for and knowledge about Bolivia are impressive. We had an amazing three days in and around the park. Also, EMVT has contacts all over Bolivia with other reliable agencies and hotels, which they can book for you. No doubt one of the highlights of our trip! Travelled early september 2014.

Best three days of our trip in Bolivia...Very interesting and adventurous tour. We explored caves, we saw the most amazing views up on the mountain, spotted condor, trekked and climbed, showered under the waterfalls in an amazing canyon, but the pick of the adventure has been when our guide and owner Rami took us watching dinosaurs footprints... We've been really impressed by his passion about dinosaurs and the level of knowledge he had about the area. The hostel we stayed(included in the price) was cleaned and the staff really helpful and polite. He took us for our meals in a local restaurant with a very tasty food...very well organised and we felt safe with Remy and local guides. In some occasion he encouraged and challenged us doing thing that we did not think we could do and it was a great sense of achievement. Overall we definitely recommend this agency. We would like to thank Remy for the amazing time...
