“The Place to be in Contonou”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2013

I found the Livingstone to be a marvelous place. The food was very good, the staff friendly and polite. All this in a little corner of a busy city. Its a home away from home.
The prices are on a par with the other restaurant's in town a couple of beers and a pizza each for 3 people runs at about 30000CFA.

“Good food and service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

The food here is generally good as is the service. Like most local African restaurants, the service is not as good as I would like, but it is far better than most. They have nice steaks and pizza.

“Back to square one”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013

Nice place, good atmosphere, the food is reasonable (best pizza in Benin). Around 10 euros a meal. Expats galore but that's part of the attraction. It's where you come to when you've had enough of the Cotonou chaos and African lifestyle. After you're done with your meal, you're ready to go again.

“As Western as it gets”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

For a country with very little in the way of recognizable businesses and food (Coke but not Pepsi, no McDonald's, KFC, etc.), this is as close as it gets to Western/American, and it shows as you will likely find someone with a familiar accent or face anytime you visit. The food is pretty good - again the best renditions of Western food, pizza, etc. you will find in the country.

“Pizza”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

Livingstone is a small indoor-outdoor restaurant that has some of the best Pizza in Cotonou. You mostly have the ex-patriate community that hang out at this location. So if you are missing home and want to hear a western accent hop on down to Livingstone and enjoy a slice of Pizza while you are there.
