“Not authentically Beninese, but a nice slice of home”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2012

If you're looking for authentic Beninese cuisine, keep looking. If you're searching for somewhere comfortable with good food that won't make you sick, this could be your spot. This is probably the #1 expat hangout in Cotonou. The pizza is especially good, but the brochettes are favorites too. Saturday night there's a buy one get one free drink special. They play sports games on a big projector too.

“Ex-pats place. nothing to do with Benin!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 18, 2012

i went there many times. being a silly european and scared of real africa i thought anywhere else i would have been killed. i mean, if you are french that might actually happen but i am italian and we are sooo loved everywhere we go. must be because our so called empire was a joke and we still are quite a joke. livingstone is in the ex-pats area, where all the ex-pats houses are and their schools. i even found a Padre Pio place not far from it! if you are dying for a burger and something you could easily find in any of our capitals than go. beware cotonou is not equipped for any sort of glitz or fashionable place. to a beninese this is as glitzy as you will ever find. parking is easily found in front of the restaurant and that helps. lots of tables outside too. another thing though. the pollution in cotonou is staggering. around 5pm the air changes i swear and you will see this sort of bluish air. it's not something you truly want to breath whilst dining outside. on the other hand the inside heat might make you have to chose. you have been warned!
