“Great find in an unexpected area”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

I'd driven by this little place on Rte. 101 hundreds of times, thinking nothing of it until friends suggested we join them for dinner there. In brief, it's larger inside than you would expect, and the food is excellent, reminding us of great meals we've had recently in Italy. The service was patient-we were there for hours and were never rushed. The only complaint we have is with the acoustics. If you go at 6:30PM the place is packed and it's hard to hear the person next to you speak. But as the crowd thins out, it's fine. This is definitely our favorite place to eat in Amherst.

“Italian familia”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

My wife and I decided to try Pasta Amore after a neighbor raved about her meal.

We agree that it was excellent - attentive service, reasonable prices for fresh, true Italian cuisine and owned and served by Juliano and family

We will be going back - soon

“Great meal, great service, reasonable prices”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

We visited here on a Wednesday night at 7pm, without reservations we were seated as a party of 4 immediately. The owner gave us our menus and we said it was our first time in, he made the sign of the cross, and said we would be fine. The personal attention was appreciated, we noticed during the evening that he made special contact with what must be regular customers, in particular a elderly couple that they spent some time chatting with it was sweet to see the exchange. My point is you don't see this often especially at the chains. So about the food, everything was very good, bread was served with butter or a spicy olive oil dip, which we didn't try, we had a bruschetta appetizer which was a large size and could easily be a meal with a salad. My spinach strawberry walnut salad was good, I didn't enjoy the dressing as it was a mustard based vinegrette, not a fan. Entrees were large portions at prices of 14.95 to18.95 and all came with your choice of pasta. I had a veal saltimboca which was very good. My husband had a veal scallopine. Which was also very good, he almost licked the plate clean and that rarely happens when we go out. Our dining companions had chicken Parmesan. Also another clean plate and the chicken piccata which they both said they enjoyed. Dessert was a must also with great reviews. I don't believe they were all made in house but they were still good. We had a cannoli which of course is a must when dining Italian it was made with fresh real ricotta and very good. We also had the special of the night a limoncello sorbet which was very light and hit the spot, lastly a frozen chocolate ice cream ball which was good as well. The entire bill with tip for 4people, 2 Martina's, 2 sodas, salad appetizer, 4 entrees, and 3 desserts was $155.00. I would definitely visit again. On a side note the service was not rushed, or overly attentive, we were friends we haven't seen in 20 years and explained we would stay till the last diners left and they had no problems with this.

“A True Taste of Italy”
Reviewed June 16, 2013

We've been there numerous times and the service and food have always been outstanding. The Gnocchi and the Linguini Arrabiata with Clams are true favorites but we've never been disappointed with anything we've had there. Having lived in Italy for a number of years we are delighted to have found a local restaurant where we can get real Italian food.

“Overrated”
Reviewed June 7, 2013 via mobile

Ordered the steak-tip w/ ravioli special. Shocked when it arrived with tiny sliced pieces of tough beef. The flavor was 'off''. Ravioli was not fully cooked.
Total rip-off for $21 bucks.
