After a great day of playing and relaxing at Fairmont Hot Springs, our extended family group was hungry for something substantial. We drove all around Anaconda, the nearby town, looking for something open and suitable and found very few options. Finally, we decided to try this tiny pizzeria. What a great decision! This little place (we pulled two tables together to fit all of us) might be small on space, but they more than make up for it in friendliness (everyone working was happy to chat), atmosphere (red checked tablecloths and everything) and great food (seriously great food). My kids enjoyed watching owner Bill Gallicano toss the pizza dough into the air and assemble his gigantic pies. Gigantic, I tell you!! There is a bar next door, where you can buy a pitcher of beer and bring it in, if so desired. The menu is extremely extensive and very creative and the two pizzas we tried were both outstanding. Bill has brought a little bit of NY to MT and mmm...mmm...mmm, is it ever wonderful! We will make a point of eating here every time we come through town, and we might just go out of our way to come through town more often. Did I mention the pizza was good? And gigantic?
