“Extraordinary Glimpse of Tranquility at its Best!”

What an amazing experience! We were invited pre opening of the lodge as a guest to test the facilities.
The entire experience was incredible! The property owners offered exceptional hospitality and were available to direct us to the local interest throughout our stay which was very much appreciated. We were looking for a beautiful place to relax and rejuvenate for a few days. The lodge accomodations were clean, comfortable, cozy and intimate and the ambience had a warm inviting presence throughout. We immersed ourselves in the property as the amentities fit our needs perfectly. We enjoyed the state of the art kitchen where we spent many days preparing gourmet meals sharing in the dining experience with friends and indulging ourselves in the serene surroundings.
I felt like I had truly been on the most relaxing vacation of my life where I was able to cherish each moment of each day. We discovered a new vacation spot and we will definitely be back.
Thanks for the wonderful memories!

we had great time with our friends , every nights we had the privilage to use their professional made kitchen so specious, so inviting to baking, and more dishes to create... a perfect cooking demo for those of us willing to spend all day around it with a great wine pairing and a few friends willing to clean dishes ah! ah!... beautiful trails for hiking and small creek near by make this place a paradise for years to come ;for any kind of guests:suitable for family, friends, corporate groups, honeymooners, weekenders
looking solitude and peace. Well for the rest ask Bill & Marlene to make enchanting , memorable they wouldn't disappoint you. We are looking forward to come back soon with more troops and loving it.

What an amazing place. I stayed at the Montana Sky Lodge just before its official opening and have to say it was just outstanding. The Lodge is warm and comfortable, each room themed in different muted colors to match the light coming in through the windows. The air smells of pine, the beds are heavenly, and there was ample space to be able to walk, think, relax, and unwind.

The Holayters are excellent hosts who have that beautiful sense of when to be helpful and present and when to step back and let you simple soak in the beauty of the surroundings on your own. The kitchen was wonderful -- easy to find things and a relaxed space. There's a feeling of abundance. You don't want for anything so you're free to unwind.

I so appreciated that the whole lodge is solar powered and off the grid. Being 7,000 feet up a mountain side watching the moon rise through the trees one night, there was just an awareness of a greater connection to things, and knowing that every day the power to the house came from the sun just really helped to bring that loop closer in to home.

The Lodge is not far from Fairmont Hot Springs and I enjoyed going down there for a soak and then coming back up to the lodge again in the evening. Lots of good hiking in the area, too, and the historical sites up near Wisdom are well worth visiting.

Though I was at the lodge in late summer, I imagine it would be wonderful to see it again in snow, in spring, and in autumn.

I had an opportunity to attend a pre-opening of the Montana Lodge in June this year. I have traveled extensively in my career and on holiday and I must say the Montana Lodge is simply a beautiful, charming, and very comfortable place to stay. The breakfast was amazing, so delicious and nutritious! The surrounding grounds reflect Montana at it's best. I opened my window to breath the fresh Montana air and I fell to sleep listening to the gurgling of the near by creek. Just awesome! The bedrooms and the bathrooms are so comfortable and beautifully appointed! Marlene and Bill have exquisite taste and have spared no expense decorating the lodge to the nines! I highly recommend the lodge. Don't miss this unforgettable place and stay as long as you can! The area is rich with mining history and if you like to play golf the course in Anaconda is a destination golf course! Marlene is a native of Butte and she can share wonderful memories of the area she grew up in. Bill is an avid fisherman so for those of you who like to fish he can direct you to were you can catch the 'big ones!' Bottom line is the Montana lodge is a five star kinda place!
