The location here is great. The area is beautiful with lot's of outdoor activites. The resort has golf and a great pool area. Great for families.

However--the hotel and restraunt leave much to be desired. The carpet in the room had a large red stain. The rooms are minimal-few amenities. We found the coffee shop to be slow. I asked for an espesso and was told they could not make them.
I had stayed here years ago and was disappointed becuase the efforts to do real maintenance have been cosmetic.

We spent three nights at Fairmont after an exhausting trip through the NPs. It was great to soak our tired muscles in the warm waters. We had a room in the Annex building (attached to but separate from the main building. The room was verge large and comfortable. It was also very clean. The entire place was very clean. Our room had a king bed and an overstuffed chair with ottoman. It had a work desk in addition to the standard side tables and TV cabinet. The bathroom was also large with a walk in shower. Everything looked like it had been recently remodeled. The outside pool was closed during our stay for cleaning. It opened the day we left. The inside pool was huge. The guests have access to the pool 24/7. While the place got crowded in the afternoons, we frequently had the place to ourselves in eh morning and late at night. Very nice. We visited Deer Lodge and Phillipsburg during our stay. Be aware that there are no restaurants close to eth resort. The closest would be in Anaconda, some 10 miles away. The resort restaurants are good but a bit pricey. This is our third stay at Fairmont and we hope to return soon.

The kids had a great time. The staff are friendly and accomodating. The all day slide purchase was worth the money and our room was great. The pools are well kept and fun and all the extras are available for purchase - great movie selection in the rooms (though pricey!). The only thing that wasn't "perfect" were the restaurants. The breakfast buffet needs a waffle maker and dinner was just "so-so". This is mainly for mom and dad - the kids did not care about the food! They had a wonderful time and we felt very safe -- even going to the pool later in the evening. You will never regret a trip to Fairmont Hot Springs Resort!

We stayed here as an overnight stop on our way to Washington State. Only a couple of miles from I-90, makes a nice change from your usual hotel on the Interstate. Good place for an overnight or as a base for exploring the surrounding area. Not a "resort" in the sense one normally thinks of (luxurious and exotic), but room was large, clean, and comfortable. Great place to stop with kids--they have very large (Olympic size +) indoor and outdoor pools, both fed by the local hot springs. Go into nearby Anaconda for dining--prices in both coffee shop and restuarant seemed high for middle of Montana.

We had a great time at Fairmont. The staff was friendly, the food was great, and they have entertainment in the lounge 5 nights a week!

This was our first time to stay here. We had talked about it for a long time. We had to teenagers with us and they enjoyed it alot. I wish we could of stayed longer. Everyone was so friendly and very help full. We didn't fill cramped in the romm with four people. They are large rooms. The weather was not in our favor and they kept the info. at the desk up dated for everyones travel worries. The food in the cafe was good. We will return on our next time that way. The pools were great and they had different temp. in the pools so everyone could pick which was best for them. Thanks for a great time!!!
