Owner description: Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes, the Old Works has been reborn on the site of Anaconda's historic century old copper smelter. The first course ever built on a Federal EPA Superfund site, Nicklaus incorporated many historic relics in his design. With its affordability, course conditioning and friendly service, Old Works is quickly building a reputation as one of the premiere, daily fee golf experiences in the Northwest region.

As the most affordable Jack Nickalaus course in the world, Old Works has become a yearly pilgramage for those of us in Idaho. This psuedo-links style course can play long and tough, but the fairway grass is amazing. This course proves that you don't need lots of trees to be difficult, it uses the prevailing winds as the equalizer. I recommend this course to everyone that can make it to this part of the country.
