Lindenhof Bed and Breakfast
Ranked #3 of 9 Augusta B&B and Inns
Reviewed February 19, 2012

We stayed Feb. 17 & 18. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Debbie. She was very easy to talk to and had a great personality. We stayed in Clara's room and bed was very comfortable and the room has a private bath with shower. Bill started a fire for us in the sitting area and showed us the hot tub and how to operate it. The breakfasts were the best we have ever had at a B&B!!!! The wineries all had workers that were very freindly and the only winery that charged for samples was Mount Pleasant. The first nite we went to Balducci's, great food and large portions( we wish we would have split one). The next day we ate Augusta brewery, the hamburger and chips were good and the band was fun to listen to. Washington Mo is only 15 minutes away there is a theatre, chain restaurants, and retail stores if need anything. We had a great time, Bill and Debbie were the
nicest hosts we have ever had. We hope to make it back sometime.

The Lindenhof Bed and Breakfast is inviting from the time you check in and are greeted by the wonderful owners. The house is beautifully decorated with antiques. My husband and I stayed in the rose room which was clean and inviting with plenty of space. We loved the claw foot bathtub with jets. It was so nice to have fresh baked bread, cookies, and drinks available anytime. The breakfast was amazing!! Apple dumplings, croissants, and two different egg dishes were all delicious. We loved the conversations that took place around the breakfast table which is one of the reasons we love staying in B&B's. The location is walking distance from Augusta Brewery and shops and really close to Mt. Pleasant and Montelle winery.

Room Tip: Choose a room on the top floor like the rose room. Two of the rooms are on the bottom floor right n...

We found this B&B several years ago and try to make it back twice a year. It is a fantastic location and the owners Debbie and Bill always go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. The rooms are beautiful. Over the years we have stayed in each one and always enjoyed them.
The Hot tub and patio are a great way to unwind at the end of the evening and the Sunroom and fire place are so cozy.
The breakfasts.....don't even get me started. Amazing!!!! Always my husbands favorite part of the trip.
We love this place so much and have brought friends with us the last trip and we all had a wonderful time. We will be bring a larger group this coming spring and we are all so excitied.
My husband and I have traveled a lot all over the world, but going to the Lindenhof is like going home. Everyone needs to take a weekend trip to Augusta and enjoy the beauty of this area and the friendliness of this B&B.
Thanks Debbie and Bill for always making us feel so welcome!!!!

This B & B is in the perfect location in Augusta MO, part of the Missouri Wine Country. Very cute, very comfortable and very affordable, what more could you ask? The bedroom was comfy and the bathroom and accessories were more than expected. Debbie is a great hostess and the food was wonderful! Loved the garden area, wish I could have spent more time there. Was perfect for someone biking the Katy Trail.

Yes, the bathroom floor tiles are heated and controlled by a thermostat. We spent two nights here celebrating my wife's birthday. She chose to come back to Lindenhof because she loved it last year when we were there with another couple. Debbie's warm, welcoming personality made both our previsit phone calls and our initial arrival very positive. She even baked fresh bread for each guest every afternoon! The house is both charming and up to date. We loved the fireplace room and the outdoor fireplace. The hot tub spa outside is excellent! The bathroom with heated floor also has a very modern "bubbling" tub (they call it a "champagne" tub) which is shaped like an old claw foot bath tub, but much larger. The tub also has a shower which allows plenty of room for two. It is important to save water! We have been to many many B&Bs. We made reservations to return next fall to celebrate our anniversary. We had a great time in the Augusta Wine Country and Lindenhof was a major factor in our fun.

Room Tip: Talk to Debbie, the owner, she's helpful
