Got tickets for my birthday and really enjoyed the play and the area surrounding the theatre. Had a nice meal in town and drove the area, sightseeing. Great day trip and wonderful entertainment.

We went to see the production Boeing Boeing last weekend. It was one of the funniest, most entertaining show we've been to. I have already highly recommended it to others. Make sure you get dinner reservations at Catalpa. It's a first class restaurant in a small converted home about a block from the theater. You won't be disappointed.

Small and inimate; but broadway class shows. Always entertaining. Season tickets are the best buy, but the trip to the quaint town is worth a weekend getaway withthe restaurants and the B&Bs.

We recently attend a production with our grand-kids. At the intermission we were basically asked to leave. The kids were exceptionally good, there was only one time when one child stood up to pick up the program that had fell on the floor. We were told that that was disturbing the actors and causing the performance to be terrible.
We have been long supporters and have seen performances were kids the audience were running, screaming, talking or crying and the staff said that is our future. I just don't understand why our little disturbance deserved this reaction.
The show, Music Man, was very good and I hope this was the opinion of one person and not of the actors/crew. The usher who discussed the situation with us was extremely embarrassed. We are good friends with several people in leadership and plan to have a discussion about this situation when the time is appropriate.
We will NO longer be supporters, or ticket holders. I just hope they can find their old values again!

I've been going to Lyceum for years and love it! Last year's highlights were Damn Yankees, Run for Wife, Always Patsy Cline and the hilarious A Tuna Christmas. I love the theatre's mix of strong local actors and Broadway regulars. It's always a great experience whether you're looking for serious drama or a silly night out. I'm really looking forward to this season, especially "To Kill A Mockingbird", "The Music Man" and "Boeing-Boeing"! Fantastic having Broadway caliber theatre in the heartland!
