Damn good burgers, cozy feeling you find and good"hole in the wall" joints. Only dislike I have is when the DJ is going the place is so loud you need serious hearing protection to enjoy a pint. nota good thing in my book.

Small charming bar/restaurant with great food. I had the Friday fish fry special for $6.99. Three pieces of beer battered cod with fries and slaw. Fantastic deal and delicious food. The drinks are 2-4-1's all day.

We stopped in for lunch. They have some Rubin poppers that are a must try! And the Rubin sandwich is hard to beat!

The atmosphere doesn't scream warm and cozy, so don't expect intimate lighting and plush booths with plenty of privacy. It's definitely a bar at heart, and I'd imagine it's a loud and exciting bar after dark. The main level is small, with a lower level that's a bit bigger with a stage for live music.

All that being said, pay no attention to it. Once your food arrives, you'll forget any flaws you might have thought you noticed. The food is simply amazing, and everyone in our party raved about the quality of their dish.

I had the Guinness Cheese Burger - an open faced hamburger on sourdough that's topped with fries and then drenched in a Guinness cheese sauce. Having to eat it with a fork and knife felt strange at first, but the flavors work perfectly together. The fries seem to be made with a thicker batter that allows them to stay crisp even after being covered in cheese sauce for 20 minutes. The sauce itself is excellent - smooth and flavorful. They could drench any of their entrees with this sauce and it would taste great. For $9.99, this meal will leave you stuffed. This is probably the best burger I have ever had. All diners in our party were impressed with the taste of their dishes.

Service was friendly and attentive as well. We ate on a Tuesday, and our server pointed out that on Wednesdays, all burger entrees are $4.99 all day, fries included. We will definitely be back.
