Our party of four was the first to be seated at the nine-person table. The waiter set three of us along one side and then the fourth on the next side, facing the grill. This made it inconvenient to be able to speak to one another, so we moved to the side with four chairs in order to all fit more comfortably. Our waiter *MATTEW* came back with our plates and told us we COULD NOT sit there and that it was necessary to move, but did not give us a clear reason. He just glared at us and mumbled under his breath. With a shrug, we moved back to our original seats.

Then the hostess sat a party of three along the other side, leaving *GASP*!! Three seats along the main view of the grill, next to where one of our party was already sitting. The waiter then scowled at us and muttered "Would. You. Like. To. Move. Back. To. Where. You. Were," with gritted teeth. We moved again. Then another party of three joined the table, and our dinner began.

Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner, as we are not from this area and may never have an opportunity to visit again. The waiter Mattew never loosened up as the evening progressed, but fortunately he was only an accessory as the cook at your table is the main entertainment. I have a mushroom allergy and let the cook know, as the menu requests, and he made sure to cook my vegetables separately before adding mushrooms in and finishing the dish for the rest of the guests. I really appreciated his care to this matter.

Expect to pay $19-22 per plate on average. This includes a small bowl of broth-based soup, a small house salad with a yummy peanutty dressing, steamed rice, noodles, veggies, and your choice of meats. My sister-in-law got the vegetarian dish and that was $16. This was a little more than we would normally pay, but, again, you are paying for the experience. We won't be in the area again for a while, but we will definitely recommend it to friends who are going shopping at the Great Lakes Crossing Mall, and we will be telling them to make sure they don't get Matt/Mattew!!

I have been here a few times with groups of friends. The seating is around the grill and you may end up meeting new people-there are 9-10 seats around the grill. The food is grilled right in front of you and it is a neat show. The food was very good and the service was really good. Prices were reasonable.

We will definitely return to this establishment! The service was great... The atmosphere is fun... The food was the best habachi food we have ever eaten. And there is no reason you should leave hungry... The provide plenty of food at each course! YUM!

I had never been to a Japanese Steakhouse. When shopping at The Great Lakes Crossing a friend said we should go there. They had a wide variety of food choices. Steak, chicken , salmon and more. You were seated at a table grill with 10 people. The chef was very entertaining and prepared an excellent meal. It helped that we were seated with others that enjoyed the experience too. The prices were a little on the high side. All in all it was worth it. The service was exceptional. The only issue was you all ate and were done at the same time. You really couldn't stay and have a drink at the table when the meal was done. I will go again.
