We stayed at the Cobblestone Manor B & B and picked the Dinner Date Special, which included dinner at Alfoccino. We arrived at the B & B at about 6:00 on a Friday, after an event at the Palace. The host called the restaurant and put our names on the list. We were told to wait 45 minutes, as the restaurant had just gotten busy. Which apparently happens frequently after an event at the Palace.
We arrived there about 40 minutes after the call was placed. They were still very busy. We had to wait for someone to leave the parking lot, so we could park. Once inside, we were told it was going to be another 45 minutes. We mentioned that our name should be on the list. The hostess checked, it was. But it was still going to be 45 minutes longer. Since we paid the B & B to have dinner here, we couldn't leave, so we waited. And waited. And watched as others who walked in the door after us got seated. At first I assumed they were probably already on the list before us, so that's why they were being seated. But after awhile, I got the impression that there were some regulars that came in and got seated before us, as the list wasn't even being looked at by then. I was just about to bring this to someone's attention, when they finally seated us. So I dropped it.
I will say, the food was excellent. The waitress was very friendly. Service time was pretty good considering they were on the tail end of a very busy couple of hours.
If I was in the area again, I would probably give these guys a second chance to not ignore us and get us seated. But, do yourself a favor, don't try to have dinner here after an event at the Palace, as you will wait.
PS, my average service rating is because I don't think the host was paying attention to the list and we felt we were ignored. The waitress was excellent.
