Hampton Inn Detroit / Auburn Hills - North (Great Lakes Crossing Area)
Ranked #1 of 19 Hotels in Auburn Hills
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed June 20, 2014

I came to this hotel for the last few days of a 10 day trip and it was very pleasant to relax in a very clean quiet room with a frig, microwave and a well-functioning thermostat. It was easy to find TV channels and the list of nearby places to eat was easy to follow as well. The people at the front desk were very helpful with information about the area. Although I didn't have time for it, it could have been fun going to the mall across the way. I recommend this Hampton Inn.

Very nice comfortable and clean hotel. Very convenient to shopping and dining. Price too high for expected experience. You expect the hotel that you are staying at to be clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. I only was disappointed at the price that they are charging. Felt taken advantage of. This is not a resort hotel. It came out to be $163.16 a night which is way too high.

We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay! Unfortunately the price fluctuates. There are times when you can stay with us for less, as well as times that it may be more. Next time you are in the area, please be sure to ask the front desk agent if you are eligible for any discounts or promotions - we will do our best to find something that meets your criteria if there is anything available.

Pretty quiet for being located across the parking lot of the outlet mall. Nice rooms, friendly staff. Overall I would return. We were in a single king size room with a comfortable foldout. The bathrooms are the best feature, with fantastic water pressure. Joe's Crab Shack is right down the road.

Stayed for seven days on a business trip. Every night's stay was ideal. Location of hotel was also ideal. Hotel is located across from large outlet mall. Mall has plenty of restaurants and things to do.

Hampton Inn Great Lakes is a good standard hotel. Not a lot of bells and whistles, but everything works and is clean (clean is important ! I've been in some real dives by mischoosing a hotel). Free breakfast, nothhing extensive but again, does the job. A good place to stay if you are on a budget.

Perfect in every way; not many hotels come close - at any price point. Pleasant and helpful associates - especially Spencer who baked choc. chip cookies for us one evening! Room was spotless throughout with everything one could possibly need. Large bathroom was fully stocked. Perfect & quiet a/c system. Perfect varied, complimentary hot breakfast served daily. Excellent location in Auburn Hills at the Great Lakes Crossing Mall. This was our first stay here, but we will be staying here every trip we make to visit family in this area.

Room Tip: Our room was on 3rd floor; totally quiet.

We had an awesome stay, the hotel both inside and out was very clean. The staff were very professional and top notch customer service. The location was perfect, as we came to shop and dine out for a weekend get away. The breakfast was well managed for a crowd! We all ate and enjoyed ourselves.
