Hampton Inn Detroit / Auburn Hills - North (Great Lakes Crossing Area)

Was initially concerned based on reading earlier reviews about noise in this property but was pleasantly surprised at just how quiet it was on a recent stay when the hotel was fully booked.

Selected this property to see a concert at the Palace. New property that is very clean....front desk staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and our business appreciated. Easy to get to and from The Palace from this hotels location. Good restaurant options nearby.

Parking was a challange only because snow clearing was not great and too mnay parking spots were taken up by snow....that said, this would only be a seasonal issue and it was a particularly tough winter.

I do wisk all Hampton Inns were a little more consistent.....breakfast options were not as varied as the Hampton Inns I typically stay in when travelling through Ontario.

Hotel staff very good. Ameneties very good. Cleanliness very good. Unfortunately it was impossible to sleep in the room due to a constant VERY load humming / vibration on the whole floor. Would not recommend if you want a good nights sleep

We picked this hotel, because you can walk to Great Lakes Crossing, and to a few of the restaurants nearby.

Perfect location, if you want to shop, and walk somewhere for dinner and have some drinks. (We went to Chilis).

Staff was quick and friendly. Room was great, had a fridge that kept everything really cold and a microwave, I used to reheat leftovers from lunch.

Though there was a sign that said "Please no popcorn in microwave per local fire department". I thought was really strange. I've never seen that anywhere before. I wasn't planning on making any popcorn. I just thought that was weird.

Overall the hotel was great, and I would stay there again.

We were in Auburn Hills to watch my nephew in the MHSAA Individual Wrestling State Championships. The hotel was about a 5 min. drive to The Palace of Auburn Hills and Great Lakes Crossings was in our parking lot. My nephew won his 2nd State Title and we had an awesome time in an amazing hotel.

My family and I stayed here during Presiden'ts day weekend. Overall, hoteel is great. Convenience to Great Lakes Crossing was perfect. Whoever didn't want to stay at the mall could walk to hotel. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Rates were a bit high though.

I booked this hotel for a friend and I for a shopping trip at Great Lakes Crossing (which is on the same property). From the start, the front desk service was excellent. We were each given a paper to pick up a coupon book at the mall (without asking). When we asked about the possibility of staying an extra night, Sean checked, but they were fully booked. Not surprising on President's Day weekend. He said he would let us know if anything opened up. At the excellent breakfast the next morning, he came over to our table to let us know that they were still booked up. When we checked out, he gave us the name, phone number and address of another Hampton a few miles away in case we wanted the extra night. The room was great, the bed very comfortable. Some noise from the room next door at 2am, but attributable to inconsideration, not the hotel staff.
