“Better the second time around”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

This was a complimentary stay (instead of refund) from a previous time when they had a fire a year before. I had little problems. Staff was friendly, room was nice. The only cons where people very loud in hallways outside my room all night long and the water wasn't very hot for my morning shower, but these where minor issues...
Oh, I almost forgot, I found 5 bucks in the parking lot when I was leaving!

Room Tip: I asked for a quiet room when I made reservations, so I don't know how to answer this one.

Weber's is a nice hotel. I have stayed there many times. They have recently been renovating and updating the hotel. The pool area is nice (ask for a room overlooking the pool). They have a nice bar with live music most nights and the restaurant is one of the best hotel restaurants I have ever eaten at - excellent food. Service is good. They will give you delta points, but are otherwise unaffiliated with any hotel chain.

Room Tip: Rooms by the pool have balconies with spiral stairs leading to the pool. They are highly convenient...

I stayed here during an onsite interview in Ann Arbor. The decor is very natural with a comfy lobby for meeting and chatting. My room was very quiet, despite being located between two busy streets and near a main highway. The bed was extremely comfortable and the onsite restaurant is relaxing and delicious. This stay helped me focus on my interview and relax after long days. I would definitely recommend it. The location is good, just a few minutes from downtown. Plus you pass Zingerman's RoadHouse on the way (definitely have dinner there!). Oh - and during Art Fair (mid-July), Weber's has a free shuttle to downtown!

I've stayed here a couple of times for business. The front desk staff is wonderful. The cookies in the front desk basket are fabulous! The restaurant food is delicious, and the servers are top-notch. One even created an off-menu light dinner for me, and when I wished to thank the manager, I found I was speaking with one of the owners! Easy freeway access, close to town (but not walking distance), very clean - I'd definitely stay here whenever I'm in the area.

We have visited Weber's Inn several times. The decor is a bit outdated and the rooms definitely are showing wear. It is a nice place for the kids because of the poolside rooms. On this visit, we were very disappointed that the staff did not enforce quiet-hour and smoking rules. It was very loud in the atrium at 1:30 a.m. after a couple of rowdy weddings and cigarette smoke was coming in our room through the air conditioning system. The next day, we felt like we were babysitting children whose parents decided to let them go to the pool themselves. They were running around the deck, screaming in the sauna. We reported the safety issue to staff, but their only response was to come look through the window. Staff should not be afraid to enforce policy. I would have expected them to ask each child where his or her parent was. It made watching our kids at the pool much more stressful.

Room Tip: A poolside room in a nice choice. Avoid rooms in the section of the hotel not around the pool if you...

Weber's is King of Ann Arbor hotel choices as it is the only hostelery with "one eye".
Its "Four Seasons" indoor pool has nothing in common with the real to Four Seasons except the two words.
The long halls are a little dinged and musty. the rooms a little dingy and the elevator slow, but so are all the hotels in this college town.
The saving grace is that it is not a chain and it's owner/management keep it with a unique owner operated feeling.
If one wants to walk to campus, this is not your spot, but otherwise it is a good choice.

Weber's Hotel in Ann Arbor is a pleasant place for a business overnight, or even a family getaway. The staff is very friendly. The on-site restaurant is reasonably priced, and offers room service. Rooms are good sized and well-stocked. Since it is close to the freeway, it's easy to get to. A nearby shopping mall offers other dining options if the restaurant doesn't appeal. A nice hotel!
