This is the restaurant with the most original Sunday Brunch I have ever had. Every brunch is different each week with local and in season vegetables and fruits. For instance the brunch potatoes will have feta cheese and broccoli in them one week and roasted asparagus in them the next week. If they have quiche when you are there, be sure to try it as well as the homemade poptarts or cream puffs. There is usually a pasta along with some type of dinner meat. Vegetarians can find enough to eat at this restaurant. They also have an extensive cheese selection every week. Brunch starts at 10AM and the wait can be extensive if you arrive after 10:30

I have also enjoyed their regular brunch with the bacon, cheese and egg croissant as my favorite with the fancy hashes (bandito, Grecian, or veggie) or garlic, rosemary roasted red skin potatoes on the side. In addition, I have eaten lunch here numerous times with the pecan crusted chicken with cranberry sauce sandwich being a standout. Everything I have had as well as my companions has been presented beautifully. There is an extensive gluten free menu available.

The atmosphere is lively and the restaurant is located in downtown Ann Arbor on State St. in an old building with lots of natural light. Summertime is great with patio seating available.

Atmosphere… and I had a great margarita. Interesting menu choices with a very wide selection to make everyone happy. Good for kids but also would be great for a date night!

Varied, delicious menu with good service. Very pleasant decor inside and some very pleasant outdoor seating in an alcove off to the side of the restaurant.

We dined here while on a trip to visit University of Michigan. The atmosphere was great and the range of menu choices was also very good-- everything from burgers and salads to entrees. The pricing was consistent with what you'd expect at a casual dining restaurant, but the atmosphere is several notches above that, so it felt like a "special" dining experience. Food quality was excellent-- I had the fish tacos and they were the best I've had in a restaurant. Service was friendly and very attentive, though they "push" food a bit. The ability to get an on line reservation was very helpful. The location is very central. I would definitely be a regular here.

I have eaten at Sava on several occasions for both brunch and dinner. Their menu has a lot of variety, particularly at brunch with lots of delicious sweet and savory options. I am particularly fond of all their Mexican-inspired options like the Breakfast Chimichanga (get it with chorizo). Their dinner menu also has some great selections- I had outstanding fish and chips there on my most recent visit, with crispy, flavorful fish, delicious coleslaw and fries, and an ideal portion size where I was plenty full but not stuffed to the point of bursting. The one thing that prevents this being a 5 star review is that it can get really loud, to the point of not being able to hear what the person sitting next to you says, particularly on weekends, so if you're looking for a more intimate experience either go early or choose somewhere else.
