Incredibly decorated. Had boxty, shepards pie, deep fried Brie, Irish bread. Yummmm. Also a bunch of great beers....Irish and local. We loved it.

“Weekend in Ann Arbor with Friends”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2013

Could possibly be the BEST Irish food I've ever eaten. Dishes tried: Boxty with grilled chicken (the best), Irish Stew, Chicken Pot Pie, Shepherds Pie. Everyone at the table agreed that their food was fantastic. We tried each other's and concluded that they were all fantastic. Good choice of beers. Friendly service.

“Great Pub, Great food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2013

This visit was over st pattys day and it was PACKED. We walked in and werent aware that it was a "seat yourself" place so we stood there for a few minutes. We found an open table and the service was quick. The waitress was very knowledgable about the beer selection and the menu. We both got the shepherds pie and the traditional one was the best! Very yummy. Definitely a great place to go. Fun atmosphere.

“Straight to Ireland from Ann Arbor”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 28, 2013

This a great place for a pint and a laugh. This was as fun as any Irish bar in Boston. My friend straight from England said they make a snake bite in the black to perfection. I enjoyed the taps, spirits, and the atmosphere. It's a wonderful Irish pub.

“Nice Irish Pub”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 20, 2013

My colleague suggested this place for a business lunch. It is located within downtown Ann Arbor's attractive restaurant row on Main St. The exterior does not necessarily stand out as it is tucked into the middle of the block. But the interior gives off a very authentic vibe for an Irish pub. We arrived just before 1 PM and it was, as hoped, not particularly crowded. The waiter was quite attentive and there were no complaints about the service. The menu presented a reasonable variety, especially with regard to sandwiches and salads. The prices appeared to be pretty reasonable. I had a turkey rueben which was accompanied by fries. It was very tasty and the fries were done well. One of my colleagues had a salad that he reported to be very good and my other colleague had the vegeterian shepherd pie which was also reputedly excellent. The atmosphere was informal and quite congenial which is what you would hope to find at an Irish pub. It was a nice place for some informal discussions and chit-chat. They turned on European football just before we left which attracted a good crowd at the bar in spite of the fact that it was mid-afternoon. It was a good experience and I will look forward to my next visit.
